    Conveniently located and in a quiet area

    The hotel is nicely located. It's close to Hoehyeon station but Myeongdong station. There are a few quiet streets to get to the Hotel Hill House, but it's not too bad. The hotel is older style, but the beds were big and it was quite spacious. The washroom wall was glass but there was privacy sticker. The door didn't have a lock but it seemed to be okay. The shower doesn't have a curtain but the tiles on the washroom also has a main drain. I selected this hotel because at least there would be a tub to collect the water. They refilled bottles of water into the mini fridge everyday. Overall I enjoyed this stay and if I were to visit Seoul in the future I would consider staying here. Nothing fancy, but it was good for sleep. Coming in and out didn't seem to be a problem (like elevator usage didn't seem to be a long wait).

    We're so happy we found this hotel as I booked an airbnb and the room was not up to my expectations. Though it is quite an uphill which was not an issue to us, it is close to so many places, restaurants, convenient stores and subway stations. They have a lift, you just have to endure the stairs in front of the hotel but just a few steps don't worry. I booked the lowest category of room but is really clean and spacious with a bath tub which is quite rare in Seoul. I don't have problems even if I open all my luggage in the room. Even the toilet is spacious too! They provide toilet amenities, water and coffee. The front desk guy speaks English too. I would love to come back and stay here again!

    Comfortable and clean room with good WiFi, television with lots of different channels and choice of programmes. Daily housekeeping, coffee and tea provided and free bottle water in the fridge daily. Tooth brushes, tooth paste which was very nice and good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Furniture in the room needs updating. Breakfast consist of hard boil eggs, toast, soup, ramen, ham, pickles, fruit juice, coffee and tea. Very helpful English speaking staff on front desk. Enjoy our stay.

    Closer to subway, easy to get around. Nice and quiet. Beds are hard and not so comfortable and pillows flat so sleeping amenities could be improved. Breakfast acceptable but didn't vary in 5 days. Staff very good.

    We arrived at the hotel at 8am and were able to leave our luggage with the hotel so we could explore on our first day.We had a deluxe room and it was worth it for the space. The hotel also provides free water bottles per guest a day which came in handy! Room also has a microwave, kettle and hairdryer as well as other regular items in hotel rooms. Bathroom doors are glass translucent, so you can’t see in or out, but it is a bit off putting if you don’t know your travelling companion well! Please note, there is no safe if you wish to store valuables in the room.Braakfast is simple and served strictly between certain times, therefore if you have early tours out of breakfast hours miss you will miss out will need to sort your own breakfast! The room itself is clean and tidy and WiFi is strong as there is a individual device in each room. There is also free WiFi in the lobby. Staff speak English well and are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and only a few minutes walk from Hoehyeon subway stop and Namdaemun Market which has a great selection of clothes and food. Also within 25 minute walk to Seoul station so you can get the AREX back to the airport.We would definitely recommend the hotel and book again if we visit Seoul again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
