  finally ok - but complete different expectations....

  Actually we booked this hotel, because on agoda it looked "special"... we finally got there: reception was poor but helpful, the first room we got, was without windows and not this big one, what we booked - we really had to talk serious, and we got larger room, "old fashioned lux, but dirty ...!, for the 2nd night, we finally got the room, which we booked - size super, good looking but really dirty, broken tiles in bathroom ...... so and than also, we found out that Agoda shows restaurant room and breakfast - surprise surprise - no breakfast and no restaurant - so we went nearby and finally to other hotel, where we had breakfast every morning ! Maybe we would go back to this hotel, but only for good pricing, but probably try to find another.....

  All I need for my 5 day trip to Korea!

  Very basic room, but always clean. New towels and water bottle given everyday. Great location, easily walkable to Myeondong (popular tourist area 30 mins walk) and Dongdaemun Design Plaza (8 mins walk). The only negative I would say is that staff at reception were very unfriendly and not informative at all. No manners nothing.

  From the hotel, I was able to walk around and see some scenic and historical sites among others. The room was spacious though the shower area can be improved; water goes everywhere since there’s no partition (shower curtain/glass) between the shower area and the rest of the CR. Staff of the hotel are helpful.

  This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival the building looks glamourous and smart - the inside is far from it. The room looks modern but then upon inspection is dirty, smelly and not “designer or boutique” style at all. The shower has no shower curtain so the entire bathroom gets soaked, there is mould all behind the bathtub due to this. The bedding was dirty and full of stains and blood which looked like they have been coloured over in tip ex or white paint? Disgusting! The lampshades were full of dust and the curtains were all mouldy at the bottom. When the mirror in the bathroom steamed up it clearly hadn’t been cleaned as the guests prior to us had written on it and it was still there. On numerous mornings we woke up to the strong smell of poo coming from the drains which was that bad it nearly made me throw up, when complaining to the staff they did not care and said they can change my room but I would have to bring all my things down into reception and then wait until 3pm to check into another room as there wasn’t any rooms available across 18 floors…To top it off we requested our room to be cleaned 3 days in a row and it never got cleaned until the 4th day and they just remade the bed with the same dirty bedding and nothing else, we had to request more towels and toilet rolls and when requesting more pillows we got told no very abruptly. DO NOT STAY HERE!

  Poor maintenance and mould in the room

  We booked this hotel for 2 nights. From the outside the hotel seems nice. Upon checking in we realise that the hotel vibes does not reflect the first impression. Receptionist was not friendly but efficient. Once we checked into the room we realised that this hotel housekeeping service was terrible. Please refer to my photos. We went down to reception to changed room immediately. The next room we checked in was better but if you look behind the bathtub where the shower is, there are thick layers of mould. There was some exposed power socket as well in the bathroom. We went out the next day and asked for the room to be serviced, when we came back the bed looks worst than when we had slept on it, please see my photo The hotel have so much potential but I feel that they are lacking in the care for their product making their receptionist stress which also reflect in their customer services.
