  Well located hotel, one metro stop from Seoul station. The rooms are a reasonable size & are clean & comfortable. There is quite a bit of noise from both the traffic & the trains, even on the 12th floor.There is no walk-in shower - only showers over the bath. If you have any knee issues, not easy.

  Don't stay here, horrible and not at Seoul Station

  This hotel should not use Seoul Station as a way to attract customers when it is not next to Seoul Station. This is misleading and they need to change their name to Hotel Designers Sookmyung Women's University Station because their hotel is about 300 ft from the entrance to this station and not Seoul Station. I booked because I thought it was right next to Seoul Station and it wasn't. The staff members were nice but they did not care for any requests. I requested on Agoda and also in person that I wanted a high floor room and the front desk representative just said "yeah, high floor" then proceeded to hand me a room key to the 9th floor out of 20 plus floors that they have. That was all the interaction I had with the staff and the positives ended for this hotel. You can take a look at the pictures of the walls and see how disgusting they are and this building from the outside looks amazing and barely 5 years old but how could their walls of rooms look like that. I found long strands of hair on the floor because housekeepers did not do a good job cleaning. Towels were old and everything just looked dated especially the furniture. I booked a larger room and it was just a standard room and this room was intended for three people and I was like how could that be possible? They have one international plug for the whole room, only one plug that I could charge my US phone. I would have to put down a deposit of 10,000 won to borrow a Korean charger from them. They also charge for all the amenities like toothbrushes, slippers, and anything else that a normal hotel would provide for you for free but here you have to pay for every single thing even for slippers which hotels in Asia always provide. The sink is weird and it's hard to turn on and off the faucet due to its kitschy nature and the only positive in the bathroom was the large tub so i applaud them for that.The beds were horrendous. Thank god that I only stayed for one night because they were as hard as a rock. I'm not even kidding, might as well sleep on the floor. The pillows were terrible and the sheets gave me rashes the next day due to their cheap detergent or they didn't even wash them.Don't be fooled by the pictures and how nice it looks from the outside. The rooms are small even if you book a bigger room and their kitschy design choices make the rooms look and feel cheap especially after only a few years in business.It was crazy that I paid $130 USD per night for this barely 2 star hotel. This hotel isn't even worth $50 and I was like what the hell how could they charge that much because they lied and stated that it was next to Seoul Station when it wasn't to trick me and countless others to book.

  Overall a value for money hotel. The rooms are clean and functional. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great as the subway is right outside the door. The only issue is working out some of the appliances like aircon as all in Korean but the staff will help you

  Good base for Seoul day trips

  The hotel is very close to the Seoul main train station so it is a good base for making day trips out of the city. It is also right on a very important metro line, nr 4.The hotel always seems rather busy but the reception staff handle the situations quite well although some speak better English than others.The single room was really small, not perfect if travelling with lots of luggage but it was well equipped and pristinely cleaned every day.

  Nightmare in hotel

  The room suddenly no electricity at night and the staff change another room for me. I have clearly requested the take a quick look of the original in the next day morning because it is dark and afraid i missed something in that room. But they claim they have checked it for me and nothing there. They broke the promise. ridiculous.
