the best hotel in town for three people

    rating15 Feb 2026

CYC ( 260213 )My family stayed at this hotel for two nights for city tours. The hotel location is very good, and all the facilities are good. The staff was friendly and the service was satisfactory. When three people travel, it seems to be the most cost-effective, and the room is a little small, but there is no problem for three people to stay. It was a satisfactory stay because the room condition was good.

    Excellent location

    rating04 Sept 2024

The hotel was centrally located in a quiet residential area, walkable to Insadong, Myeongdong, close to subway stations and bus station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Our room was spacious with fabulous view to Namsan tower. Will come back!

Had to tell them to make our beds

    rating14 Oct 2023

We stayed for 5 nights and there are 2 occasions where our beds were not made up despite having pressed the make up room request and got new towels changed. The concierge told us that it's likely due to "hygiene reason" which was why they're not changed... We found this odd that we had to remind the concierge that we would like to have our beds made together with the make up room service. Location (a quiet part of town full of hardware shops) and hotel is value for money nonetheless. It's a walk to major attractions and it is between 2 station lines which makes it very convenient. By taxi, we were unfortunate that the roads were closed due to protests near the City Hall area, which made the taxis having to go several detours, as there is only a one-way through road to the hotel.

    Untrained front desk manager

    rating12 Jun 2023

Other than getting a room with 3 twin beds for 3 of us, which is unusual, the hotel got off to a rough start. After a gruesome walk from the subway station under the hear and navigating around the brick sidewalks, tripping up our suitcases every now and then, we arrived extremely tired, sweaty, and literally out of breath. I approached the front desk and asked if we can do an early check in as we need to shower and rest before heading out. The front desk clerk told us there will be a W22,000 charge (about CAD$22). I asked to see if she can make an exception. A younger looking man then told me that it is hotel policy. So I asked if he can bend the policy a bit for us. He again declined. When I asked for the manager, he informed me that he's the floor manager. At this point, he declined again. By this time, I was getting frustrated with me. While I understand that sometimes hotels just have to follow rules, this fellow showed absolutely no empathy. At no point did he say sorry, which would have been appreciated. What made it worse was when I half jokingly said I will post him on social media, he actually shamelessly held up his name tag for a photo. So I took one. His name Sang Jun Park, Assistant Manager. This was when he crossed the line. Hotels belong to the Hospitality Industry. A hitel is a home away from home. The man had no idea of each concept. After that, the stay is same at any standard small hotel in Korea.
