  We stayed at Hotel 28 from June 5-June 12. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. What stood out for us were 2 staff in particular: Amanda and Aloy. They delivered exemplary service beyond reproach. They would rush to open the door leading to the common hallway even though our hands were free from holding any packages. They always have smiles on their faces while bringing passion to their jobs as if it was their first day on the job. Aloy would make sure we caught the correct taxi; he would stand beside us until our taxi arrived at the front of the hotel. Also, he would help me with operating that fancy coffee machine without being asked. He demonstrated service above self! Amanda would let us know which restaurants to check out and patiently mark the point of interests on maps when asked. She did this without hesitation and with so much PASSION in her delivery of the information. Her patience with interacting with us and other guests was very impressive; her knowledge was broad and the information was accurate to the tee! Her tips helped us discover many things that we were not aware of: how to catch a taxi in the middle of Seoul, distance between point of interests, which train to catch, and many more that promoted our " quality of life" while vacationing. Hotel28 was centrally located, nestled amongst the attractions. The walls of the hotel was insulated very well. So the noise level was not an issue at all. The room was spacious and was good value for what they offered. Because of AMANDA and ALOY, our trip was exceptionally pleasant and fun! Hotel28 is very lucky to have Amanda and Aloy who demonstrate top notch service 100% daily. Breakfast at Congdu: we purchased the breakfasts during our stay. It was fabulous. A big thank you to Young Joo Doh who was so good in ensuring our food came in a timely manner, especially when we were in a rush to meet our tour guide. She was fantastic! The breakfast set the tone for the rest of the day. The breakfast offered many choices, from healthy, heart smart to traditional Korean dishes. They were delicious. Again, special thanks to Amanda and Aloy in helping us to experience an unforgettable vacation.   Hotel 28 is in an excellent location in the centre of Myeondong. However, despite being in the centre of action, the noise insulation was surprisingly good and we weren’t kept awake. The room was small, it was a challenge to find room for our 2 cases, there was also very limited space for hanging clothes. However, the bed was extremely comfortable and clean. All staff we encountered were helpful.   We especially liked the location in the heart of Myeongdong! Concierge and front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Lucas and Mathieu who both spoke English well and were very polite. They angered our questions and offered tips that elevated our enjoyment of Seoul!   Location- easily a 10- right in the middle of the Myeongdong actionRoom- also a 10, clean with a very comfortable bedService- 10+ Everyone was so helpful particularly Matthew who hangs out in the lobby areaBreakfast- very good but not a 10.   We had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel 28 Myeondong.
