  We spent 20 days in this guesthouse with pleasure:- rooms are clean and well equipped (fridge, tv, good air conditioning) apart from a lack of storage - a small kitchen is available on the ground floor- the perfect cleaning and laundry services- the welcome is really warm and good advice (English/French)- in/out checks are very easy - the main asset of the hotel remains its location: district living in a typical area (restaurants, bars, convenience stores), served by 3 main subway lines (one passing through Seoul Station), and a few minutes walk from the Myeongdong district - the price is very reasonable I really do not understand negative reviews, for us everything was perfect!   Absolute horrible owner and place

  I came in the door was opened firstly and then I came in then it totally smelled because the kitchen is entrance of the door. Directly on the streets they are drunken people and my little son felt so nervous that we just left the place. The owner said they would give us a refund of 50 percentage but unfortunately due to my bad Korean he said the booking.com, I refused it in Korean and they said they cannot give the money back, because they do not have any guests. So after staying outside I thought at least putting our bags in, because we were commuting around but even that they could not do it, because they had guest. So they took all the money but did not allow even to put our luggage in.Horrible owner to communicate with and not keeping promises and also after experiencing many youth hostel that this place is absolutely not recommendable for people who are looking for a nice atmosphere.

  During my holiday I travelled all over South Korea, so I stayed in different accommodations. However, this accommodation is by far the most rancid I have ever stayed in.In the bed there were still hairs from the previous stayers. I found several mold colonies in the bathroom. In addition, the cleaners didn't dust off anything, because there was a thick layer of dust and sand everywhere.If you suffer from physical or back problems, this bed makes your health insurance a bit more expensive. However, the stairs ensure that you stay fit. Jeez!The accommodation is many times smaller than in the photos shown on Booming.com and other booking platforms. Watch out for this. It is possible to find a much better accommodation for the same money.Happy stay!

  Economical accommodation in a good area with good transport links

  We had a small double room on the ground floor, it was new, clean and had a small window. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. Basement washing facilities are available at a small cost. There was access to a kitchen. The location is great, it is in an area of nice restaurants and boutiques. A metro station which has a direct line to the airports is just meters away. Finding the place was a little tricky at first as it is hidden away on a laneway. The directions provided weren't really good enough. The greatest downside to the property, the ensuite drains smelled awful, you had to keep the door closed and run the extraction fan to make it acceptable..

  Guesthouse, not a hotel

  We arrived at the guesthouse past 8am and we have to call the host through landline as there is nobody at the reception. He gave us the code for the door so that we could drop our luggages at the reception area. There was no elevator and we were booked at the 3rd floor. The room is simple - comfortable bed, 2 pillows (no extra), small towel (1/4 of a bath towel, replaced everyday), smart TV, aircon, small ref, kettle, toilet and bathroom (no shower curtain).Location is good, and the pictures that the host sent after booking was very helpful. Can use jongnu3 subway exit 3 and 6, a short walk to the guesthouse, aside from exit 4. There are a lot of small shops, convenience stores and restaurants around the guesthouse. Short subway ride to myeongdong and dongdaemun. Guests can leave their luggages after checking out and can just get them back later. They can also use their small kitchen to do some cooking, just clean after yourselves.
