  Loren was very helpful, friendly and very kind. He was always very respectful and ready to answer all our questions up to the last details. He exerted extra effort to help us with our needs and inquiries. Loren was extremely exceptional and a big asset to Orakai Daehakro hotel. Kudos and more power to the front desk staff!   Good hotel but sauna not open-reconsider if this is important

  Overall it’s a good hotel with some major caveats. Going to Korea where sauna culture is a big draw the sauna at the hotel was a major favor in booking. Lots of similar priced hotels have saunas. However we learned upon check in that the sauna was closed for repairs. A local friend said that it’s been closed for many months. It’s misleading that they don’t tell customers about this missing amenity until you arrive. We would have chosen a different hotel for a similar price.   Good for longer stays.

  Location of the Hotel is nice as it's a bit north off jong-ro and therefore still quite centered. The price per night was therefore very reasonable (a bit over 100€/night). The room I had was facing to another building / park and not the road. It was quiet when the window was closed but a bit noisy with a window open (to be expected). The atmosphere of the room was modern and a bit "business-style" but overall quite good. Room cleaning was done daily (a bit early for my liking) but they did a good job of cleaning everything. They also offer to just make your bed and not replace the linen and towels if you don't want to / need to. Also you get 2 bottles of water/day to your room.You can wash your clothes in the hotel as 2 washing machines and 2 dryers are available.   I want to say thank you a lot to Noel Lee, she has a beautiful and kind heart. Yesterday I felt so bad and asked her to call ambulance. She was next to me all the time, translated everything for me in English and in Korean for nurse. I really appreciate it. She is so professional and so good person. If Korea has such people like her, then Korea will always be on top, because even if you are alone, you know that here you can find such a good person and she could help you. Thank you a lot again.   Very nice, very convenient hotel!

  We were so pleased with our stay at Orakai Daehakro Hotel. It was quiet, clean, and so comfortable. The fitness room is excellent, and we also enjoyed the breakfast the two mornings we ate there. The hotel is so very convenient to the top sights in the historic area as well as tour meeting points. We were able to walk everywhere without relying on taxis or public transit, which was so nice. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Seoul!
