  This hostel was wonderful. I had no complaints whatsoever. The staff all did a great job to make everyone feel welcomed and like family. They convinced me to stay longer so I could enjoy a meal with the entire hostel and that was great as well. I can assure you I will stop back through here on my next travel to South Korea. You guys are awesome and I thank you all for the help you gave me as well!

  Quiet location, good safety, friendly and helpful staff, fast wifi, cool art,... Could go on and on! Owner usually makes great korean food for guests. First time finding it might be just a little complicated, but after that it is very easy to find. Very good and cozy place! :)

  there's simply no way to discribe this place with out you thinking is not real, but believe me it's all real. Coming to pencil 5 is like returning to a home you never knew you have with a funny crazy friendly and lovable family who are always glad to see you (and feed you A LOT) whenever you come. You will love hanging out on level 5 playing games or just sharing stories about your day often accompanied with something yummy to eat (and why not Soju?) you'll feel you have known this guys for your whole life ... and you wont want to leave, but when you do, you'll make sure to come back. Oh! and a warning you better learn how to master the art of Jenga .. because whoever looses gets the tower of dishes!

  the staff are very friendly.. they always conduct a party for the guest sadly i wasn't able to join since i have to go to everland but i was able to chitchat with them in the night and have fun with all the hosts of the hostel. they are very nice. they will provide you all you need like if you need extra blanket or towel without extra charge and you can also make your laundry if you want. well not all hostel provide that service. even i stayed only for 2 nights in this hostel they really welcomed me here and make me enjoyed my stay in korea.. i really wish to stay more but maybe next time when i visited korea for sure i will be back here.. feels like home Pencil5seoulhostel, 오너 at Pencil 5 Hostel, responded to this review Thank you for your stay in Seoul with us~ We love to cook and share our things.   I love hanging out at the level 5 where everyone will hang out , chat , and play games together. Everyone bonded together. We even went to celebrate New Years together. Pencil 5 is awesome!
