We arrived at the hotel to be met by piles of junk inside the front door and what appeared to be protesters camping outside. We were ignored by the reception staff for some time. They seemed to prefer to deal with Korean people first over us “foreigners”. The hotel is extremely dated and tatty. Needs a good paint and new carpets. The nicest and friendliest member of staff was the lady who cleaned our room every day. We loved Seoul and were out and about so thankfully didn’t have to spend much time in the hotel.

I have never stayed in a hotel that made me want to leave the moment I walked in, but this was a first. It was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish.The reservation was made by my friend.The Room & FacilitiesThe hotel is severely outdated. The furniture and equipment look like they haven’t been replaced in decades.• Hygiene: The bedsheets had visible black stains and even holes in them. The towels were so dirty I didn't even dare to touch them.• Air Conditioning: Despite setting the thermostat to 10°C, the room remained uncomfortably warm. The AC simply does not work.• Soundproofing: Non-existent. I could hear every footstep in the hallway and every door opening nearby. I could even hear the neighbors laughing and talking since 5am as if they were in the same room as me.• Amenities: The TV was an ancient model that barely functioned.Service & ManagementSince I checked in at 3:00 AM, I waited until the next morning to ask the front desk for a complete change of bedding. I specifically requested everything be replaced with fresh linens. However, when I returned that evening, nothing had changed. It was the exact same stained, torn sheet.To make matters worse, the front desk staff were incredibly rude. They showed zero politeness and offered no help whatsoever. Final VerdictI tried to give this hotel a chance by staying a second night, hoping things would improve, but they didn't. I eventually couldn't take it anymore and checked out one night early. The staff just ordered me to pass him the key and did not check when is my check out date and how was my stay.Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else but

It's in a really good location, plenty of places nearby to eat and shop but like others say there are protesters outside, we could see them from our window and they made noise all into the night.We came a day early and they had us in a bigger room and made a deal with us that we could stay in the bigger room for a slight charge. Sounded great, up after being there on the 2nd day we came back to the hotel late and they said they made a mistake and made us move... They tried to make us move that night and tried to get into our room which was real weird.Too much hassle with all the noise and miscommunication of the staff, I won't stay here again.I wish I could upload video of the noise from my room if the disgruntled ex workers!

Super convenient hotel to Myeondong shopping area.

The hotel is situated right behind the famous Myeondong shopping area. You can take the airport train to Seoul Station and change to Line 4 and alight two stations later at the Myeondong Station. Go to Exit 9 and it is just 5 m from it. The staff are helpful with your request but not friendly, likely due to the some industrial conflicts with the management because there were some “sit in” protesters right outside the hotel.

During my last business trip i have booked this hotel for two different period. Strong point is position (exit 10 of Myeong Dong metro station is very close) as well as rooms and overall services. What I have not liked was breakfast. No value for the money they ask.
