    Do not go to Signiel Seoul if you have food allergies. We notified them prior to arrival, at checkin and when we arrived at the restaurant. Two out of three meals we were served nuts eventhough they knew of the nut allergies. Chicken with garlic was actually chicken with almonds. Two days later beef ribs with no nuts actually was beef tibs with nuts. Total incompetence with no response to fix the problem and no real caring or understsnding of the problem. These food allergies are potentially life threatening. The day manager and the head chef did not seem to care (May 24, 2026)McDonalds is far superior in dealing with allergies.

    From the moment we checked in, the service was outstanding. A special mention must go to Mr Mercury, who accommodated all of our requests with genuine kindness, professionalism, and impressive attention to detail. His warm approach set the tone for a truly memorable stay.The hotel itself is beautiful, refined, and maintained to the highest standard. The rooms are exceptional, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The views of the city are simply mesmerising and make the experience even more special.Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. The team were absolutely amazing, keeping the room spotless and beautifully presented throughout our stay, with the same level of care and attention that reflects the hotel’s high standards.What stood out most was the hotel’s consistency: excellent service, superb amenities, professionalism, genuine kindness, and a real sense of care from the entire team.We were extremely satisfied with our stay and will definitely return. Signiel Seoul is a hotel that truly lives up to its reputation.

    Pros - my God the views to die for! Housekeeping soooo good! Gym great. Breakfast staff and food great. Wish more variety for food but still okConsOver priced. Paid 7m for 3 nights and not worth itRestaurant food in bar 81 and lobby lounge horrible. Hanwoo steak aged tasted like some rubbery crap. Signiel staff in afternoon refreshments rude. Some girl who doesnt know how to behave at all… food in the afternoon was cookies and juice.. comeon?? Heard of afternoon tea? Sandwiches etc??Overall i wont be back. Waste of money…

    A Beautiful Hotel That Has Yet to Find Its Service Standard

    We were disappointed by our recent stay at Signiel Seoul, which is unusual for us. We travel frequently, stay at luxury properties around the world, and typically research hotels carefully before booking. We rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case the experience fell well short of expectations.To start with the positives: we booked a Deluxe Suite with Scenic Bath, and the room itself was excellent—spacious, attractive, and fully consistent with the standard we expected. Check-in was efficient and professional, and our Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits were clearly explained.Unfortunately, that is where the positives largely ended.The core issue was service. At this price point, and for a hotel marketed as one of Seoul’s premier luxury properties, guests should expect warm, polished, intuitive hospitality. Instead, interactions throughout our stay felt overly scripted and impersonal. Staff were generally courteous, but service often came across as transactional rather than genuinely welcoming or anticipatory - "robotic" is an appropriate description. This is not an inference to the staff personally, but the ubiquitous nature of this transactional feel is indicative of training and leadership issues. This is especially noticeable when compared with other top-tier hotels in Seoul and elsewhere, where service feels natural, engaged, and seamless. Our last stay in this city was at the Four Seasons Seoul, which had phenomenal service. Signiel has the physical product to compete at that level, but not yet the service culture.Another recurring frustration was elevator wait times. We understand the unique logistics of a hotel located high within one of the world’s tallest towers, but delays were frequent enough to become a consistent inconvenience.None of this means every guest will be unhappy here. Many travelers may enjoy the impressive views, strong room product, and landmark setting. But guests accustomed to truly refined luxury hospitality may come away feeling that the experience does not match the rates, reputation, or accolades. Signiel Seoul has tremendous potential. With stronger service training and a more guest-centered hospitality mindset, it could become exceptional. At present, it feels like a beautiful hotel still trying to grow into the level it aspires to represent.

    Great Stay Amazing Hospitality

    Amongst the best hospitality we enjoyed around the World. Staff went a mile to help us whenever needed anything. Also View from the hotel is mesmerizing. Lounge for Residents guest is a pleasure. Used their Conference facilities as well to finish office work on a Holiday. Congrats to the whole team.
