  Don't Let the Commute Scare You! Hidden Gem!

  SR Hotel Sadang was the perfect property for our stay! Plenty of positives!First off we stayed in a Deluxe Terrace room which was spacious, clean, and cozy. It was basically a standard king bed suite with a spacious bathroom, two tubs and an enclosed balcony-like space. While the TeePee was a bit thematic, I would have rather have had the space used for a table or desk. We were on the top floor with easy access to their rooftop terrace-like area. Not much up there other than a few chairs and tables, but it was a nice view to see the sunrise and the local bustling activities. Second, the subway station is literally right next to the hotel with a direct shot to Seoul Station. We thought it might be a problem (long commute) staying so far from where the action is on the north shore, but it was an easy trip. 30 minutes tops. Third, the location is much less touristy, but it's hopping. Plenty of restaurants and shops. A convenience store is right across from the hotel a few steps away. Burger King, Starbucks, Bakeries, local eateries, were all busy every night of the week!Lastly, the price was right. Much more room than we would have had in a more touristy location.Other than needing a table/desk space, the only other improvement would be the included breakfast. It did it's job as morning fuel, but nothing special.When you consider the location, the room quality and size, the immediate subway access and manageable commute time... absolutely satisfied!!! We'd totally stay here again!

  I stayed here recently and, while the location is great and the room was very clean, the overall experience was disappointing. The central heating was completely out of control — it felt hotter than summer inside the room, and there was no way to adjust the temperature. To cool it down, I had to turn on the air conditioner, which was incredibly loud and made it hard to sleep.When I called the front desk for help, the first staff member told me the heating wasn’t even working and abruptly hung up on me. I had to call again, and another person suggested turning on the aircon — which I had already explained was part of the problem. This was very frustrating and I wouldn’t stay here again.

  It was my first visit to Korea and I'm happy I chose Karashy Hotel. Booked online and price was reasonable and you get what you paid for. Spacious clean rooms with all amenities you would need during your stay. Friendly staffs. Recommend.

  Terribly disappointed , noisy location , the internet in the room is a desaster and the fuses went down suddenly i am in a dark room, heating does not work properly and there is no closet in the room to hang clothes thats ridiclulous! karashy, 프론트 매니저 at SR Hotel, responded to this review We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.As a photo, your room is a standard double.The room does not have a wardrobe and only has a regular hanger.If you have given us a word in advance, we would have provided you with additional hangers.The power is cut off due to the voltage difference or the problem of the electronic device.If there is no problem, the power will be supplied again after confirming our staff.Your feedback will be shared with all team members and this feedback will be a great encouragement for us to continue to provide a high level of service.Thank you again for your valuable feedback.Front Office SupervisorCURTIS SON

  Beautiful hotel, ultra luxe design with floor to ceiling mirrors, dark bronze tiles in the bathroom, and extra large bathtub. The bathroom and amenities great. Bedroom was a bit small though, just like NYC, although I got a deluxe with balcony. And the balcony is nothing to speak of, hemmed in with floor to ceiling steel mesh/grate - part of the facade. Guess it’s for people who want to smoke rather the enjoy the view. Service wonderful, even printed out a picture of the place I was to go so I could recognise the building since I cannot read Korean. Needs a set of drawers as there is only a small exposed rack for clothes. Could also use a desk for those who want to work, there is only coffee table/stool/armchair. Location great, near the subway which is only 4 stops to Gangnam or a few more to the huge COEX mall and convention center.
