Great value for money

At only 36 euros, I overnighted in a very comfy, cozy and clean single studio with a full kitchen, sink, refrigerator. It's only 5 minutes by car to the A Corunia airport. I recommend it for everybody visiting for a business trip.

The sound isolation of the apartment is very weak, to much noise specially from the above rooms (so pick one in the last floor...). The matress is not good, they should be substituted by new ones. The location is good if you have a car and the parking garage is good. The price is not high but neither quality. Javier V, Director General at Apartamentos Portazgo, responded to this review Dear guest, Thank you for remark about our aparments. We are sorry to hear that about our mattress, specially because we have changed most of them this year (the rest were changed one year ago). We take notice of it so we get better in the future. We hope to see you soon.Best regards.

Good value but not sleep friendly

A very clean and modern set up that offers very competitive rates and is on the road to the airport . We were warmly greeted and were very impressed until bed time. The mattress was very uncomfortable with springs poking through. Noisy neighbours arrived at 10:30pm and did not settle down till after midnight. There is simply not enough sound proofing. You can vividly hear every footstep, switch, cough, snoring etc. Being on a main road also doesn't help. The apartment would have ranked higher if it included more useful utensils and items for cooking. Asking €4 to hire a toaster seems a bit niggardly Javier V, Director General at Apartamentos Portazgo, responded to this review Dear guest, Sorry for our late reply. Thank you for remark about our aparments, above all regarding our staff. We are sorry to hear that your mattress was not comfotable, this year we have bought new ones. We also have bought more toaster that we lend for free (we only ask for a deposit). We are always pleased to know what kind of utensils are needed by our customers so we can get better. We hope to see you in the future. Have a nice day.Best regards.
