    Disappointing.

    I’m going to write good and bad.First good.MIguel and the waitress with long black hair were so lovely at the restaurant.That’s about it.The place is tired and run down.The beds uncomfortable with old blankets, which , I do t think any hotel should be using in 2026.No glasses in room.Wall paper peeling off.Noisy. We could hear people outside our room until very late.Pool was not allowed to use….mid May.Rooms dusty, and cobwebs.Poor breakfast. There’s not really anything gastronomic.Just needs a makeover, and some care.

    Food good needs an update

    While the food and service at the restaurant are very good we found this hotel to be disappointing. The rooms are outdated and need updating. Lights were broken - towels were thin. The outdoor areas in late April were unkept. Gardens not cared for. The vibe is that no one is keeping this place updated. The waiter was super kind and our three meals there were lovely. Not much to do in this town so tough without a car.

    Off "The Way" but a lovely diversion

    This seems to be a building that is old but with a large addition. There is outside seating next to a pool. The dinner was excellent, the room was lovely and the hotel's services were good. If you are walking the El Camino it is several miles off the way so you will need to order a taxi but we were staying the night there so they arranged out pick up and dropped us off there the next day to resume our walk.

    This hotel is right off the main road and required a 15 min taxi ride from the Camino trail in Rúa de Francos. Our room was plainly furnished with two twin beds together. There was a lot of built in closet/drawers. I don’t think there is air conditioning, but by opening the window our room stayed cool. The owners were very accommodating. The view from our room was not very interesting.

    Arrived to less than warm welcome and a desire for the lady to give us our room as soon as possible.We specifically requested a quiet and A/C’d room but clearly stated on the sensor of AC- Do not touch. The AC was not working , despite our attempts, the shower was faulty and sprayed up into the ceiling. The pool area resembled a junk yard- no exaggeration. No facilities for laundry either!!! Dinner , a basic salad and 7 grilled prawns with bottled water cost 50 euro. The bread was stale and they served meat on bread that I was compelled to spit out, we were charged €4 for this!Well advised to give this establishment a BIG miss.
