Location

The hotel has a privileged location in La Coruña, at the seaside, on the promenade, near the Hercules Tower (a lighthouse which has been working for more than 2000 years). It is just a few minutes from San Amaro's sandy beach and a stop for public transport. This hotel is ideally located for those wishing to explore tourist and cultural sights of interest.

Facility

9 suites and 122 double rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     More of a three rather than four star hotel.

    Not quite sure how this is a four star hotel. Our room was ok but more basic (the bathroom especially) than we expected. There were no added comforts as such (kettle, cups, tea/coffee, slippers, bath robes) and the towels were worn, one with a pretty big hole in it. We were surprised also that there was no swimming pool. We didn’t pay an extra £25 per night for a sea view and our room therefore looked out over the car park, which was really noisy throughout the night. The hotel is located a good 30 mins walk to the old town but it’s a nice walk along the coastal path. The breakfast was pretty good - a large buffet which was replenished regularly.

    Very bad experience!Booking reference E007-243595. We were on vacation for 5 days there with family and unfortunately someone from the room service used my personal stuff.An expensive Hat that I left in the room was left with unremovable stains !!! After complaining to the management, they did nothing about it. So frustrating

    Plus points, shower in the room. And the man in the restaurant serving, OscarNegative points, two singles pushed together is not a double, never has been, never will beReception front of house, rude, not friendly and thinks trying to be funny is funny, sir you were disgraceful The description on the website is very misleading, reads as a complete lie to the reality, Here (read the webpage for the relevance of the comment), is a hotel that is not central, that is not a pleasant place to stay, and has zero attraction to stay. Avoid at all costs

    This hotel is in a fairly remote part of A Coruna but the centre is easily accessible if you don’t mind walking. Unfortunately our stay was not great, the minibar didn’t work in the room, apparently they didn’t work in any room in the hotel, I was told. The room safe did not work and wasn’t repaired in the time I was there despite asking. Then we were extremely inconvenienced between four and five pm by a loud drilling or possibly a machine breaking up concrete which was reverberating around our room on the second floor I was told by the receptionist they did not know how long this would go on for. There is definitely a lack of communication and good management here. Parking was on street in a heavily populated area, you have to take it as it comes. The breakfast choices were good but having to queue 7-8 minutes for hot drinks each time was unacceptable, there are only two drinks machines for a very large breakfast room. The ‘assisted’ breakfast is not assisted at all, it is all done by you.

    Lovey hotel, a bit off the hustle and bustle

    Perfectly civilised hotel, slightly outside the beaten track. Which for us was a blessing. Great location for coast walks, some wild cove beaches, and looong walks to the city. Buses are a great alternative - for the eco-conscious. Tickets rightly priced at 1.30€ for any journeys. Back to the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful, even if at check-in they aske for our names and passports about 4 times, in 5 minutes... Quite funny. Maybe to check if we presented different passports each time. Room was bright with lovely bay views, slightly outdated décor, but very clean, really comfortable extra large bed, new towels. No coffee / tea station unfortunately, that seems to be the Spanish standard. Mini bar didn't cool off drinks. The breakfast was abundant and delicious.
