This beach hotel is situated right in Playa de Insuela and on the northern bank of the Ria de Arousa. An ideal starting point for an excursion, this hotel lies close to a nature park with its sand dunes and guests can also ascend Monte Curota, where they are then awarded with an idyllic view of the Ria de Arousa.     A magnificent 4-star hotel in every aspect.

    Especially for its location.It is by the sea in a small town in A Coruña called Palmeira.The rooms with a terrace overlooking the sea, the small mountain, and the town of Ribeira across are spectacular. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

    Anniversary Celebration : plastic flowers and a couple of chocolates from Mercadona, not a bottle of water...... Room with sea views and terrace : top floor and no space even to sit, boxed; the wonderful views (best of the hotel) but we had to stand to enjoy them.... The pillows were totally undone, not even with two it was possible to sleep... and instead of resting I returned with my cervicals touched and vertigo....slept little and bad..... The staff of the dining room very attentive and friendly but did not give made for the people there were.... The best thing about this hotel is its views but not far from 4*. It needs a good renovation, it is all quite left: rust in bathtub, splintered doors... bad care!! I will not return or recommend!     Great Hotel in a Quiet corner of Gqlacia

    We have family in the area and have seen this hotel, in its many incarnations, over the years. We decided to stay because we know the area well and have so much family around Palmeira. The hotel was wonderful. We had rooms on the top floor overlooking the beach and the Ria. We had breakfast there daily and dinner one night. The food was excellent for all of us. Rooms were big enough with a small balcony. Is there a lot to do in the area? Absolutely if you just give yourself to the experience of being in quiet corner of Galacia. Sightsee, relax, learn to siesta and come out for the night to wine and dine.I would not only recommend this hotel but would plan on staying there myselfin future visits.

    Wonderful sea view

    Wonderful greeting at reception. Was shown a sea view room on the 3 rd floor but asked to be moved to first floor as bigger balconies. Wonderful sea view right on the beach. Our 2 dogs were welcomed with beds and bowls. Dogs allowed after 1/10. The pool was closed for cleaning. The breakfast was adequate but the gluten free products available were exceptional.The barman Martin is full of joy and great service.The sea was still warm as this is a small bay. Lovely double sun beds on decks. In places a little tired but it is the end of the season.Will definitely be back.

    This four star hotel left a lot to be desired. It’s in a beautiful location. A lovely warm welcome in reception when we arrived. We booked a suite for the jacuzzi bath. Apart from the jacuzzi the rest of the suite was furnished with some really old, damaged pieces of furniture.noisy air con 24 hours.Breakfast was very poor. Dinner was ok but many things on menu not available. Very understaffed in dining room and bar. One person to cover bar and terrace and dining room , taking orders, going to and from kitchen and serving. Not very good cleanliness either especially in times of COVID. The menus went from one table to another without any cleansing. They need to replace their loo brushes too.Was very uncomfortable there .Reception staff very good
