We enjoyed our stay at NH Collection, Santiago, Spain. The customer service from the hotel staff was excellent. I want to especially note the gentleman at the front desk, Oscar. I had a difficult time checking into my flight and he went above and beyond to assist me in this task. Everyone of the staff we interacted with was courteous and very helpful. The second notable part of our stay was the restaurant. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and varied. The location is pretty good. Only a 12 min walk from the cathedral. The rooms are very comfortable, ample, modern and simple. The shower was small but the water flow was excellent (strong! Loved it!). The breakfast spread was great: they pretty much offered everything and if you wanted something not offered on the Buffett you can ask for it, they’ll make it fit you á la carte. The bar at night was not great as the ambiance was very quiet, and the service lacking (the waiters were nowhere to be found, you have to ring a device on the table otherwise they won’t come to take the order; therefore very slow) and the food after the breakfast meal at bar and restaurant was ok. Not great. So go to the town for that.
