The hotel is located in the centre of this attractive marine city, some 500 m from the bus and railway stations. The beach is around 4 km away. A Coruña Airport is at a distance of approximately 50 km and Santiago de Compostela Airport - Lavacolla is roughly 95 km.

    Comfortable room with enclosed balcony overlooking the Naval Dockyard. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly bar and reception staff. convenient for the museums and port.

    Let’s get the moan out of the way first. We were on the pre-booked driving tour of Asturias & Galicia but there is no mention that there is no designated car park for Parador. I ended up parking about 1km away & walking back to the hotel in the rain, not a great start to my stay. The staff were all very good, food was excellent & the building itself is very impressive. Good base for exploring Ferrol. Regarding the lack of parking, there is the following explanation: When the Parador opened in 1960, the square where it was located (then an open area) was enough to accommodate the cars of the Parador’s guests and the residents of the small single-family houses in the surrounding streets. Over the years, the Parador increased its number of rooms and the nearby houses gave way to apartment buildings (many of them without their own garages), so the parking area became insufficient. Later on, the large proliferation of cars and the fact that the center of Ferrol became the main shopping area of the city added to the problem. We are aware of the inconvenience this causes and unfortunately it is not something that will have a short-term solution. I trust it did not cause you too much inconvenience.Wishing to see you again soon, receive our best regards

    Staying at a Parador is always a treat. This is one of the smaller ones, but the rooms are very comfortable and the bar and restaurant staff are great.     I feel I just have to leave a review for this Parador. My wife and I spent last night at this hotel and we found the experience exceptional. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely. The staff were excellent, being friendly, attentive and super efficient. We had drinks in the bar followed by dinner in the restaurant. The food was top class and service excellent. I can’t recommend this Parador enough! Thankyou very much.
