Interesting hotel, nice bedroom but no parking

  04 Nov 2021

The hotel is situated quite close to the old town and easy to walk to all the bars and restaurants. However it has no parking and we had to park our car hundreds of metres away- which made it awkward. It does not have a restaurant- and for breakfast they bring a very limited meal to your room in a plastic tray- Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Abba Jazz Hotel, responded to this review Hi Gerard,Thanks for the time you have taken to review your experience. We are glad that you had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the comfort of our rooms. Please know there are parking spaces available in front of the hotel and also a nearby public car park, our team are always on hand to provide directions, should you need them on your next stay. Although we do not have a restaurant, we a re located right next to The Bost, one of the best in the city. Rest assured we have noted your comments regarding your breakfast, we regret that the variety of it did not meet your expectations. We hope to welcome you back on a future occasion. All the best,Borja Cuesta Vea-Murguia, Manager

  Below average...Quite expensive

  30 Apr 2019

We have stayed in this hotel for one night! The hotel is centrally located...the room was ok but the bathroom looked very old and dirty and it needs refurbishment....the staff looked very bored...no professionalism at all..the breakfast was so poor...I do not remember when was the last time that I saw such a breakfast... THIS WAS NOT A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST!!!.. internet was ok..I believe that you can find better hotels for the same price!!!I would never stay at this hotel again! Hotel-cmanager, Borja Cuesta Vea-Murguia, Manager at Abba Jazz Hotel, responded to this review Dear Dimitris,Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed our location near the historic centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz. While we are sorry to read that not everything about our hotel was to your liking, we are happy to advise you that we do carry out work whenever necessary and are currently improving our rooms. Our team members are very aware of the importance of our guests satisfaction and I will be addressing this matter with them. With regard to our continental breakfast, we regret that the variety of it did not meet your expectations.Despite the bitter experience, we do hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better stay in the future.Kind regards,Borja Cuesta Vea-Murguia, Manager

  Cozy hotel at reasonable price

  16 Sept 2018

This cozy Hotel is located really close to downtown. It is not very big but it is functional. My room had enough space and was very clean. Hotel staff was very helpful. The only disappointment was that breakfast was not so varied as expected. Abba J, Gerente at Abba Jazz Hotel, responded to this review Dear guest, Thank you very much for your comments. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We would be delighted to welcome you back to our hotel on your next visit to the city.Sincerely, the manager.

Great location but beware room 106

  13 Mar 2017

This small hotel is in a fab location, beside lovely Parque Florida and just a few minutes from the old town, Plaza Espana, the cathedral(s), etcet ....But the room I was initially stuck in was the size of a shoebox, only a shoebox with a pillar in the middle of it. If you lunged sleepily out of bed in the middle of the might you would knock yourself unconscious. They should either not let it out or charge €15 for it. Anyway, when I asked to be moved after one night I got the usual response - "the hotel's full!" If it was, there was a ghost convention on. After that, the nice young man at the desk didn't put up a fight and I was moved to a much better room. Don't worry about the breakfast, for €6.50 not worth it, and you eat in the lobby. Loads of good places nearby for coffee, juice, croissants. Isidro R, Manager at Abba Jazz Hotel, responded to this review Dear Nallygal,First of all, we want to thank your stay in our hotel and for choosing us. Thanks for highlight our centrical location in Vitoria. We are sad to read that your experience was not excelent in the hotel. Regarding the comments of the room, I just want to mark out that is what you booked and the photos and characteristics are well explained. On the other hand, some of the things you say are out of place or exaggerate the reality, was not a ghost convention in the hotel for example. Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience at our hotel.Best regards

Location is the only positive aspect

  15 Aug 2016

Very small double rooms, maybe 10 m2. Noisy. Smell of tabacco. Nearly no natural light neither ventilation. I was disappointed for the amount I paid and the room I got. The location is fantastic. I would not go to that hotel again Isidro R, Manager at Abba Jazz Hotel, responded to this review Dear JTD75,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.Sincerely,
