  Traveling to southern Spain

  Located beside the highway, next to a gas station.Large truck stop at the back of the hotel. Parking lot for cars in front of the hotel. Dated hotel with clean rooms. Not exactly luxurious but perfect for travelers to the south of Spain or direction France. 24/24 opened. Reception next to a large, crowded, cafetaria. Breakfast in the cafetaria from 7 AM, included in price. Noisy but vivid place.

  Clean Efficient and Comfortable

  Easy check in after easy access from main road. Free parking out front. Room clean and comfortable and a reasonable size. On site cafeteria and restaurant. restaurant opens at 8pm. The restaurant service was efficient and a tasty set menu on offer for €15. Lots of lorry drivers use this restaurant but the food is keenly priced and satisfactory. Price of room included breakfast which consisted of juice , coffee and a roll served in the cafeteria.

  An excellent stop for a set lunch

  Stopped for a very late lunch, but still very busy at 4pm. Excellent set menu, good service and friendly staff. Clearly a favourite with both locals and business people passing through, and after the quality of the meal we can see why. We weren’t needing an overnight stop, so cannot comment on the hotel facilities.

  Initially thought "What have I let myself in for?" when I got to the room, an old style traditional Spanish style as opposed to a modern room and to make things worse it was only a single bed. I knew it was a single room when I booked it but still it very often happens there it's a double bed in a room, anyway who sleeps in a single bed nowdays? So anyway in the end the room was totally fine, I moved the bed away from the wall and it made the room more cosy. And actually the bed was very comfortable, so there you go.There's a restaurant in the hotel which is separate from the cafe/bar although what I chose was very small. The service was great, as was the price and the food was lovely, so all good.In the morning if you've paid for included breakfast then you can choose what you want in the cafe/bar. This was one of the best meals in my time in Spain! I had proper tortilla, bread, cake, fresh OJ I was totally stuffed by the end of it. Great

  Stayed here fr the night on our way to Santander and thought it was brilliant. There is a massive bar/cafe that serves a drinks and slices of the hams that are hung throughout. This is a real Spanish style location where you can buy crates of wine, cheese, hams that are stacked up around the entrance to the bar/hotel. I bought a 6 bottle box of a really good rioja for 20 euros. We actually stayed in an annex to the main hotel but this was modern, clean and spacious. The staff were all very polite and friendly. There is a restaurant on site that was to a good standard but this didn't open until 8 o'clock in the evening. On a personal level, I wouldn't want to stay longer than a day or so as there wasn't much to see in the area. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably return again for a stopover next year.
