The hotel is located in the village of Argomaniz at 12 km from Vitoria/Gasteiz. It is situated on a hill overlooking the Alavese plains and the Urbasa and Gorbea mountains.

    Nice Parador in a lovely setting.

    The Parador was lovely and so were the rooms. Dinner and breakfast was good. Staff were great in reception and in the restaurant EXCEPT a waitress called Inez or Ines. She was unwelcoming on both evenings when we arrived. Throughout the time at our table she was quite curt bordering on being very rude. She huffed and puffed when we asked for an ice bucket for our wine. We were made to feel as if we were being nuisances. The other waitresses were lovely.     This is one Parador which offers tranquility and relaxation at the same time. Nestled in a small village with a view to remember. We love its location, the historic value. The staff are very kind and and attentive to one's need. The room was quite spacious and the bedding gave us a quiet sleeping night.     Great location. Nearby lake excellent for walking or cycling. Beautiful garden behind to relax in with a beer or two! Worth paying extra for rooms at the front with lovely views over the valley. The roof structure in the main dining room is amazing!
