  Stayed here for a few days on a business trip, rooms are ok and the noise levers are very low.Check in team were not the best or very attentive but the cafe staff were brilliant.Great location in the centre of town.

  Situated very close to the main attractions, its a perfect place to stay.Welcoming and friendly staff, carparking 10 per day, which is essential.It's an older hotel, with a few quirky features, well maintained and spotlessly clean, really comfortable large beds. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choices.OK now back to the title of the review, if you have a sensitive posterior, you may find the toilet paper slightly abrasive, but that's my only minor issue

  Room perfect & spotless however staff (possibly pretend) do t speak English. We chose here as a half way stop to our next destination enjoyed a wine in the bar & wanted to check the dinner menu which was available at reception when we checked in though my husband didn’t notice it. When he went to reception later the lady on duty did not understand English? The bar staff did not understand English? Yet we checked and found many good reviews from British people all saying how good the staff were. Perhaps it’s because we are Scottish !! Or maybe because there is 3 weddings currently ongoing & they do not really want tourists. So disappointed as the city is beautiful & first impressions of the hotel was excellent. Won’t be back on the way home.

  Basic Hotel near town center

  Basic Hotel, we spent just one night. City center is about 5 - 10 minutes walking distance, our room was massive, we stayed over as hubby wanted to watch football (they lost) we were tired and had over a two hour drive ahead of us, so booked into this hotel as it was close to town.We managed to park on the street easily. The bed was very hard but clean room and spacious bathroom. Our view was a wall not a problem to us as going out for food and drinks then back to sleep the room was is well isolated from noise. Reception staff on check in (10pm) was very friendly and helpful............does what it says on the tin, good base.

  I was there just for a short stay of 1 single night. City center is about 5 - 10 minutes walking distance. My room was spacious. There was no Garage at the property but you can park on the street easily. Breakfast was average.
