  Fantastic Apartment, fantastic place

  My husband and I booked the apartment via booking.com, as our motorhome had broken down and we had to make alternative plans. The manager David and his wife could not have been more helpful. They gave us a 2 bedroom apartment as opposed to the 1 bedroom apartment that we booked, as we were staying there for over 5 weeks and they felt we would be cramped! David arranged immediate installation of new WI-FI as it was intermittent in our apartment and bought us a new kettle. Nothing was too much for them to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Calpe is beautiful and we would definitely be returning. We enjoyed the weekly market and there were 4 supermarkets within walking distance. The area itself is absolutely stunning with beautiful restaurants and lovely beach within a few metres. The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds and large balcony overlooking the pool area. The balcony had views of the sea on one side and the lake, plus maintains on the other side, we are missing it already. Thank you to David and his wife for making us feel welcome.

  I have visited Calpe for many years as my family had a family home her for many many years. Peñon de Ifach - Calpe Rock is a special place to visit.Traditionally more Espana - beautiful place great for families or if travelling alone

  Aquamarina is located on the best beach in Calpe. Good place to stay with your family easy to rent a well equipped apt at good price. Find the Lazaro agency who been here more than 20 yrs . They speak perfect english ask for David his wife also speaks german. No fuss. 100% relaxation.

  What a farce!

  We arrived at these apartments at 1pm on Sunday the 12th of October to discover that the reception is closed on a Sunday! Unfortunately our taxi driver only spoke Spanish and couldn't really help due to the language barrier. We then went to the hippocampos (which is where everybody seemed to go) to find out they no longer hold the keys for aquamarina! We were then told to go to the turmalina apartments. So we went there with well over 50kgs of luggage and a very tired 2year old! This had taken well over an hour to sort out! So we got to the turmalina and our keys were there, we had to pay 100€ instead of the 50€ that our booking had said luckily we had the money to pay it! We then found out that we weren't in aquamarina at all and were infact in another appartment block! We enjoyed our stay at the topacio 3 appartments it was lovely and clean and spacious. I think it's terrible that we weren't informed or told were to go there were no notices to say we're to go and what to do! Especially when we had a child with us! We will go to calpe again as its a lovely place nice and quiet and lots of places to eat and drink.

  We had an amazing time in Calpe! We got transferred to the apartment block called hippocamus or something, which I heard from trip advisor has happened alot! The apartment was big and clean. It was such a surprise as we each paid 90 pounds each! There was 3 of us, and we had two separate rooms. There was one bedroom with an ensuite, and one other bathroom! The kitchen had everything you needed! Two balconys, either side of the apartment with a sea view. The pool and spa were brilliant and we were the only ones there most of the time! The apartment was right next to the beach and there are shops and supermarkets just minutes walk away. There are numerous bars and restaurants along the seafront which are very good. I recommend this place to everyone. Would suit a couple, family or group of friends. The apartment was quiet, which was brilliant! I recommend climbing up the rock penon ilfach! Was great!
