  Checked in by a lovely, friendly gentleman, thank you! Great, comfortable apartment. Plenty of room, plenty of cutlery and toiletries, little balcony (enough for 2 chairs), clean, secure and just perfect for a couple of nights in the sun! Just around the corner from the market and cathedral. Short walk (or run in my case!) to the Turia which was amazing. Great space for walking, running, cycling, chilling by the water features. At the far end are the stunning museums and further still the beach. I'm a walker/runner so did not use public transport, followed the Turia to everwhere, easy! 5 doors down on the right is a stationers (ring bell on the right hand wall for entry) who will print boarding passes for 15 cents. Would definately stay here again.

  Loft el Carmen - Apartments

  Loft el Carmen is part of this series of apartments. Clean, well located different apartments in the centre of the old city. The reception staff are amazing and go out of their way to help. Some of the apartments can be noisy due to bars around the area and wifi and internet connection is not the best. Suitable for all travelers whether family, couple or single. Apartments are self contained with kitchen and laundry facilities. Highly recommended.

  The apartment was super clean and everything looked like brand new. The kitchen and bathroom were good and the location was perfect. Really quick and easy to check in and out (open 24h). So good value for money!

  Amazing apartment in the heart of santa cruz barrio. The apartment was clean and well furnished. From the moment being met off the bus it has been a fantastic experience, would definitely book this apartment again or any of the properties that are managed by Jonathan

  I'm a frequent traveller and knew that this was in an area where there are bars etc. I've staying in plently of areas like this in other cities and it's never been an issue. This was a completely different experiece. The noise is constant all throughout the day for one reason or another. Postivies * In a lovely part of the old town (except on the weekend, see negatives)* Good size apartment* Local to cetre of city and able to walk to beach, castle, central shops etc.* Linens appeared clean and in good condition. Beds are very firm but comfortable.Negatives* The apartment has no soundproofing at all, therefore all noise above, below and within the apartment block can be heard at any time of day. This is expecially disturbing in the evening when people are coming and going from the bars around. In my case this continued throughout the night until about 5am for the 3 nights that I stayed.* There are no soft furnishings of any kind to absorb any kind of noise* The outside noise is loud in the evening and it is made worse by the items above* The cleaners then clean the apartments from about midday - 4pm and all you hear is doors slamming and furniture being moved around* The garbage is then collected, and the clearners are cleaning the bars nearby during the mornings with all of the recycling bottles.* The kicthens was very sparsley equiped, not even have a can opener* Dishwasher and washing machine smell of mould from being wet and closed for long periods* Bathroom fans run for minimum of 5mins after turning off the lights and are really loud* Ensuite bathroom was so small that to get in the shower you have to have the bathroom door open as it touches the sink* On the weekend mornings the smell in the area is very unpleasant - patrons from the bars not using toilets, etc. * Spoke to the hotel about the above - they said sorry but clearly this happens all the time and they were not really interested* Upon checking out the person at the front desk, just nodded as I handed over they keys. Would never stay again and would not recommend anyone else stay unless you plan to party the whole time and just use the apartment for showering :-)
