  Simple hotel between Alicante and the airport

  We stayed here for one night after arriving in Alicante. The room was small and basic but very clean and it had everything we needed. Note that the twin room layout is a budget style twin room where the beds are right up against one another, rather than being separated - this could be uncomfortable if sharing with someone you don’t know well. It also makes it easy for things to fall between the beds (and hard to detect if they do). There was air conditioning in the room, which worked well, and only thin covers on the beds. There was only one pillow for each bed, also. A small mini fridge was provided, with drinking water available at reception. The free internet worked well. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Service was pretty uninterested, but the meal itself was good and the lemon mousse was excellent. The side salad was enormous. The location of this hotel is close to the airport but not in Alicante itself - I made a mistake here as we thought it would be more central. The bus route is disrupted so I think you would need to take a taxi if heading into town. What made the hotel absolutely shine for us was Carlos at reception. My daughter’s ereader fell down that gap between the beds and she didn’t notice until we had left - fortunately just to the other side of Alicante. Carlos tracked it down for her and held it at reception until she could collect it. Thank you again, Carlos!

  Bad experience

  Location was not bad, but the room was terribly dirty, everything was dirty: the bed, the curtains, the bathroom had a bad smell and outside also smelled of sewage.   Not very pleasant

  The positives about the hotel was the free drinks at the lobby, decent location to the city and the fact that they allowed me to check out early. The rooms are extremely small and there is no place to hang clothes. There was a horrible lady working in the kitchen/lobby who shouted at me when I tried to get some orange juice from a closed cupboard. She shouted at me and then abruptly closed the door without explaining why I couldn't get the juice. It left me feeling quite upset and embarrassed. I was glad to leave this hotel and move to a bigger and more comfortable place.   Fantastic 5 star receptionist Pedro!

  I’m writing this review to say thank-you to the fantastic receptionist , Pedro Sampere, My son and his girlfriend stayed at the B&B hotel overnight before their flight to the U.K. and she left her phone with important stuff on it in the hotel.I speak Spanish, so phoned the hotel to check and see if it could be returned. It was there and Pedro couldn’t have been more helpful. There were problems with the courier service I arranged to pick up the phone, so in all I had to phone the hotel 4 or 5 times, and email them. I think I also spoke to two other receptionists, Carlos and a young woman, both very polite and reassuring, but it was Pedro who packed and labelled the phone, with all the complicated documents needed for customs. He also sent me a photo to show it was done properly.We are so grateful for his patience, helpfulness and efficiency. Muchas gracias, Pedro!My son did say the hotel was comfortable, and he had a very good pizza in the restaurant!   Sole traveler - first time in Alicante

  I was a sole traveler 17years old, my first time in Alicante. The hotel i originally booked would not let me stay, however this hotel where really helpful and accommodating. Staff really friendly, nice clean room, i had food at the hotel which was nice. Highly recommend.
