  Awful hotel

  8 of us stayed for a golf trip, based at Bonalba hotel. Really poor hotel, lifts rarely work, we arrived on Monday and left Saturday. The pool was closed except for weekends (we ignored the rules!). The bar is manned by 1 barman, last night we were told to come back in 10 minutes when he was less busy. We were also told to drink up and leave the bar at 11:30 just after spending €88 on 8 G and T’s. Staff couldn’t care less. Oh, after a typical Spanish downpour both resteraunts flooded! Golf was great tho! Won’t be back here and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

  Not impressed at all . Hotel seems like a 3 star to me as the food was terrible . This was a massive issue for me as I’m a foodie .ainslent most of day 2 in the room as I had a bad stomach from the food I did eat .Location is poor . No shops or nice restaurants nearby . Beds aren’t great .No kettle in room HotelStaff were friendly though . I feel like I haven’t had a holiday 😢

  The place was overall nice. The staff at reception were friendly and helped with any questions we had. Unfortunately there was no shuttle bus like advertised on their website or when I checked reviews on here. Also you can’t do all inclusive unless you pay for the whole week, it was near £70pp per day. Everywhere was no less than a 20-25min taxi journey and around the same price too. We went to the safari zoo for a day out and it was 65euro each way. Ubers are very hard to come by, also places out of the complex weren’t too helpful with ordering taxis, as there was no taxi ranks at most beaches. Hotel itself is basic - rooms also. There wasn’t any wow factors but comfortable and clean. Swimming pool is nice but looks like it needs cleaning everywhere. Drinks and food prices - similar to UK prices. I spent a small fortune but that was due to taxis every day.

  Nice layout poor greens

  Had a week golfing in Spain, we were staying in nearby Alicante. We had this course booked through our golf agents. The course itself had some great holes that unfortunately were let down by slow, poor greens. In fact the first green was being rebuilt which nobody told us about, which meant we played to a very small very crap temporary green. If they could sort the greens out this could be a course worth playing

  Nothing actually is here like it should be for four star rating.The room smells like an old cigarette. The noice of a normal discuss comes through the door between the rooms, like the neighborougs are in the same room.The half board is total under estimate of the guests. Only the salad is ok, all the warm food are tasteless "cantine" food at the worst.Never back even the golf course is near.Three stars at the most...
