Good location and lovely staff but noisey and basic breakfast

Staff are lovely at this perfectly located hotel. The room was perfect and the shower was fab. We got breakfast included as I was a diamond member but I wouldn’t of paid for it as it was pretty basic, only a continental with scrambled eggs and sausage on one day and bacon in the other. Think it costs €20 normally so would just go to the cafe over the road.We always wear ear plugs and have white noise on to sleep but if you don’t you will hear a lot of noise within the hotel and outside as it’s an old building and there is a renovation happening in one of the apartments across the road that the builders play Loud music during the week.We had a nice stay but if I wasn’t using my Hilton points I would probably choose a different hotel due to the noise and the basic breakfast.

Had the most amazing time in Curio Alicante. My room was stunning and all the staff were super friendly. I dont remember everyone's name but the gentleman from breakfast was so delightful and made my mornings start good. Clara at front desk was super sweet and gave great advice. Looking forward to coming back. Thanks for making my stay comfortable and fun x

Disappointed in the Hotel

We had already stayed 5 nights in Hotel Milagrosa which is right by the castle but wanted to stay another 2 nights but they didn't have availability.We looked at Tripadvisor reviews & booked 2 nights in the Casa Alberola, curio by Hilton.The room was lovely & clean (104) and the shower was very powerful but the water leaked out from the shower into the bathroom every time we had a shower. We rang reception and they immediately came to the room and cleaned the mess & gave us fresh towels & said in the morning maintenance will fix the problem. We had a shower in the evening and still the water was leaking into the bathroom. The girl on reception tried to say we were standing on the drain stopping the water going down!! We paid 332 euros for the two night stay without breakfast & these last 2 nights spoilt our Spanish adventure!

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel, our second visit when travelling to Alicante.Great hotel, great location and within easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants, and near to the marina.As expected for a Hilton, hotel is of a great standard - rooms very clean and comfortable, well maintained and staff are brilliant and so helpful.I would always ask for a top floor for views and quietness, as this will enhance the experience, we had a first floor room this time and it was still very good. If going back would not hesitate in going back to stay here.

The hotel is blocking the street

Trying to unload a few boxes has become almost impossible on this street. The attitude of the hotel’s young staff makes the situation even more unpleasant.The hotel keeps its reserved parking spaces free, but the delivery vehicles end up stopping on the corners and blocking these instead leaving no room for neighbours to stop briefly to unload and the rest of the traffic to flow.Perhaps hotel management should give their staff some basic guidance on courtesy and consideration towards the neighbours. A little flexibility and common sense would make it much easier for everyone to coexist.
