This beach hotel, located in the north of Alicante city, is ideally situated. It is just a few kilometres from Alicante and the university and 50 m away from Playa San Juan (beach). The hotel is next to several leisure centres and a tram stop with connections to several towns in the Costablanca area and thematic parks such as Terra Mítica and Terra Natura are on the hotel’s doorstep. The airport is just a few kilometres from the hotel.

English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     The staff: they do not respond when you say good morning etc. No friendly hello. The hotel is very noisy. You hear everything even when your neighbor is using the toilet.

    We arrived at the hotel in early September for 10 days. We were on a room only basis as we only have a light breakfast and wanted to try local restaurants.The hotel is well presented and very clean. Only a very short walk to fabulous beaches and local transport.A couple of minutes walk to the tram station going into Alicante city and beach which was a great way to travel.The rooms at the hotel are spacious and clean if somewhat basic. We had to pay 8 euros per day for a mini fridge and if you want to use the room safe it is an additional 2 euros per day.The view from our balcony was a little dissapointing due to all the tall buildings in the area. The pool area was nice with ample sun beds but chose your times to get the sun due to the tall building next door.The hotel seems to cater mainly fof Spanish and at times the language barrier was a little difficult.There is a cafe at the front of the hotel with a nice sitting area at the front adjacent to the main road.They serve a good selection of snacks and drinks as well as more substantial meals.The staff were very pleasant overall and special shout out to Pablo who spoke good English and was just a very welcoming and helpful young man.Main issue with the rooms was the thin walls,at times you felt as though the occupants of the rooms next door were in the room with you.There is satellite TV but no English channels. We enjoyed our stay but felt that it was average value for money.We would probably not stay again but we're still pleased we went.

    This hotel benefits from a great location close to the beach, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.The room was adequate, but the overall hospitality and service fell well below expectations. The most frustrating experience was being charged €2 simply for hot water to make peppermint teas. To make matters worse, it was served in paper cups that we had to carry in an unstable lift, (one lift out of order the entire stay) leading to hot water being spilled on us.If you’re looking for a basic room in a good location, this hotel may suit you. If you’re expecting quality food, service, and hospitality, you’ll likely be disappointed.

    I booked this hotel for the location. Close to the lovely promenade and 1.49 euro on the bus to Alicante. Bus stop right outside the entrance door. A shop across the road which sells anything and everything. Fresh fruit shop and mini market a short walk away. A few seafront restaurants visited rather than dining in the hotel. Menu appeared to be a limited set menu for lunch and dinner. I found the hotel very pleasant. Despite the bad reviews. The decor looked reasonably fresh. Bedrooms cleaned daily. Bathrooms modern with waterfall shower. No fridge or kettle in the room which would have been handy. Though a freshly made Americano for 1.70 euro was a great alternative.

    Good location, close to the promenade and beaches, and easy to reach from Alicante city centre by tram.The hotel overall feels quite run down, and fairly basic. The bedroom was also quite basic and not very attractive.Hotel bar was closed by 2230, so the vending machine on the road outside was the only option for a bottle of water.Breakfast was really poor. Poor choice, poor quality, and hot items were cold.
