Great hotel, Marriott's are just good

Always stay at this hotel on the way down to Mojacar, first class hotel.Could only get 2 days at the most as it was full of golfing groups and a huge tournament.The hotel has great food, great service it’s slick.Bedrooms are beautiful we always have one on the back facing the car park and entrance never hear a thing. Mateaous always looks after us on reception. You European can’t do enough for youAnything you want he can sort.Best breakfast around. Ample food, beautiful place to eat sit and relaxThere is an older lady who runs the breakfast absolutely fantasticThere is nothing she misses.First class shame I couldn’t get more time in a great hotel

The Marriott resort in Denia was a very pleasant experience. A very personable and efficient reception desk. We were on a cycling trip and made good use of their bike room, which included several gated and locked areas for bikes. But also, free use of washing and drying machines. The resort pool had plenty of lounges and a very nice part that had a gradual slope so that kids or even handicapped people could use. The noise level was very low and you could have true relaxation at this pool. We stayed in a superior room. Plenty of space with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and golf course. The breakfast was excellent and included à la carte ordering of omelettes and eggs. The two restaurants within the hotel also offered reasonably priced great food. even the House Wine both red and white were excellent. The spa was perhaps the highlight of our trip. If you have platinum status, you can use the spa day for free. If not, it would cost you €25. It is well worth it. It includes the use of a nice locker room with a towel robe and slippers. You can then go out into an area that provides three levels of heat in different kinds of saunas. There’s also a cold room. perhaps the most interesting thing, what is the plunge pool. The temperature was 10°C or 50°F. If you come out of one of the hot saunas this is very refreshing. Try to go all the way under! Also included was outside a small private area for enjoying a jetted whirlpool.

A Good Hotel-But Out Of Town

Denia Marriott La Sella was a comfortable and pleasant hotel with clean modern rooms, a great swimming pool and overall good amenities. It is a little isolated out of Denia itself and a daily taxi ride (15-30 minute wait) was needed at a cost between 11 and 15 Euro one way. Overall a very good hotel. with pleasant , friendly staff.

Beautiful Resort with Excellent Service, but Isolated Location

This Marriott in Denia has exceptional staff, beautiful clean rooms, and an amazing breakfast buffet. We were upgraded to a balcony and allowed early check in for our spa appointment, which we appreciated. The massage services were excellent.However, the resort is far from the beach and town, and you cannot walk anywhere from the property. Taxis were difficult to get for return trips even with help from the front desk. The spa facilities felt dated, and charging €25 to €30 for basic amenities like the sauna and whirlpool did not feel worth it.We also could not get dinner reservations because restaurants were booked months in advance and no walk ins were allowed. Overall, we would stay again, but only with advance planning due to the isolated location and reservation challenges.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 24.10.2025 for my 65th birthday. The hotel is advertised as a golf and spa resort. However, the spa facilities are vague. There are few photos and its not entirely clear what facilities are offered for the entrance fee. The spa staff were very unhelpful and quite rude. All I could get out of them was that it was 25 Euros each for 90 minutes (guest rate). The area appears to be quite small and the online description says there is a spa circuit and cold therapy with ice. Not being a fan of cold, especially ice, this was enough to put me off! There are free saunas advertised but these seem to be situated in the changing rooms!! My husband and I have lived in Germany and experienced spas there and in Holland and these are mostly good value for money. This experience plus the outdoor pool, was a disappointment. The outdoor pool was significantly damaged in places and had lots of evidence of black mould (which my husband has an allergy to). The rest of the staff at reception and in the asian restaurant were excellent, so it was a shame that the pool and spa were disappointing, as that is why we chose to stay at this hotel. In your case the booking was made for a basic room including breakfast. Meanwhile the entrance to our Gym including the use of the dry sauna in the changing rooms is free of charge for all hotel guests, there is fee for the entrance to our Spa Circuit at a reduced price for hotel guests. We must apologize if our Spa staff did not attend you correctly but we hope you accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
