  My stay here in this hotel sorry I mean this motel is like a PRANK, big JOKE , I I wanted to change my place and picked this one , ohhhh my goooood, are you killing me? don't let the name fool you, don't believe the good reviews, This motel deserve a $20 per night not 80 or 70 or 100, it's a terrible, from where should I start!?:1). I asked the receptionist for a nice view she made sure to give me the terrible view a room facing a construction, and a Geese and chicken noises 🐶🐕 in tin house below meMy reservation was prepaid they got paid more than what they are supposed to get for the city tax, I travel the world you can't steal me, but you did steale, good job, they steal MONEY CLAIMING ITS TAX, I KNOW HOW MUCH TAX YOU SUPPOSED TO GET , ITS IN MY RESERVATION, ONCE I CHECK IN I PAY a "SPECIFIC" AMOUNT NOT WHAT YOU WISH!? 2) The room what a surprise hhhh , do not pay for any superior room they gave me a small room I paid for big one, no problem the size , but if you see the room and the bathroom, I will post pics for you, the room's smell was dirty and strong, I saw few weird insects in my bed, there was a damages in the room and the bathroom, the bathroom curtain was dirty and stained, the CURTAIN OH MY GOD, of course you get just one towel.Are you serious? You need to close this motel , this motel logic nights rate is $20.15, not $100The motel is located in the center of swap meet or the center of the city where the vendors are just in front of the motel or around , do not believe the good reviews look at the real pictures I took I never took pictures in the hotels but this one I have too, be cause I paid too much money and couldn't sleep due to the late and early morning constructkon, I tried to see the swimming pool it's in the surface or rooftop of the building the last floor I could t see anything , there was no single light I tried to use my phone flash light it was dark, scary , it's fake swimming pool I had to close the elevator and go down to my room quickly ... ******""The wifi doesn't excit I tried for hours no wifi, The shower no hot water, impossible it's just cold ******"""Nightmare experience .. and the night stay rate is a joke , if you take breakfast in the last floor becareful it's all weak glass in the 13 or 14 floor

  Eating steak at Fleur de lys plateau

  I wanted to eat something familiar and went for the steak in the restaurant on the ground floor. It was nicely cooked and it was absolutely delicious. Since I am a big fan of fries I had to order them also. Yup. I ate everything

  Booking was made for 9 nights, there was an issue with our return flight which meant it got moved up by a day, we tried to get a refund for a day from the hotel but they refused. The room itself was not great, there were no lights in the main room only in the toilet which could be seen from the room through a see through glass that had no fog option, curtain or blinds to give some sort of privacy. We asked for another room but apparently all the rooms are like that, so I will not advise for 2 people to stay in a room unless you want to see all of that. Thé breakfast came with the room and was also not great. It was a buffet without much options and was a struggle to get up for. Reception was usually unhelpful and cleaners didn’t clean our glass cups on multiple occasions. This meant we had to leave the hotel everyday no matter what because it just wasn’t the type of place you’d want to spend your whole day in. Terrible experience

  Average Hotel with a Very Good Travel Agency

  Fleur de Lys Plateau is a downtown hotel is a safe but not beautiful neighborhood. There are restaurants nearby along with a mosque less than 100 meters away ( some rooms might hear the call to prayer in the early morning but for me it was not too loud) The lobby is a bit small, a little dark and needs an update. There is a doorman who will bargain for you if you'll needs a taxi. Check in/Check out was quick and friendly.The room was average size but dated. A big bottle of water was provided free. There was a safe and outlets near the bed. The internet was free and reliable. The bathroom had a rainshower. Breakfast is served on the top floor. The selection was more of continental and the selection was limited. You can order eggs. A satisfying but average breakfast.Affiliated with the hotel is a travel agency operated by Hertz rent a car (around the corner but same owner as the hotel) which provides quality private tours which are pricey but well worth the money. If you get Pape as your tour guide, you won't regret it.All in all, not a bad hotel,comfortable rooms in a good location. The staff are friendly but only a few speak English.

  Good central location. Staff very friendly and professional. The rooftop restaurant/bar is okay, the 11th floor breakfast buffet is very comfortable, and both have excellent views over the city. Room was perfectly fine, cool, and somewhat insulated from the noise and hubbub of the city. Many attractions within easy to moderate walking distance, including the IFAN museum, Marché Kermel, and the ferries to Gorée Island. Art galleries and the top-quality bookstore down the street may also be of interest.
