  a very good hostel in a very good location an easy place to find not a far walk to the tram station and the beach and bars & good shops nearby good size of room & a good bed , i would stay here again i was made very welcomed good they let you leave your suitcase

  I booked 3 days at the hostel one hour before my flight departure and there was an issue resulting in me not being able to fly. I immediately within the hour cancelled my booking and was told I would be charged for the entire stay as their policy was you need to cancel 3 days prior to arrival. Obviously that was impossible for me so I used booking.com option to ask for an acceptation. After not receiving any communication i continued to communicate with booking.com to resolve this on my behalf. Now almost 2 months later I finally am told I was marked as a “no show” and because the booking was 2 months ago I had left it too late to ask the special refund request (that of which was requested one hour after my booking). I’m upset that I did everything I could to communicate with the hostel and explain my situation but the blame still landed on me as if I never bothered to show up. They did not communicate back to booking.com no mayself to resolve this issue after attempting many times to contact them.Terrible customer service as I did everything I could to communicate my situation yet was still put down as a “no show” which they clearly knew I was not.

  FANTASTIC STAY, the staff (mainly the young ladies) were so friendly and efficient and hard working, always cleaning and checking that things were OK.The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, location was great, kitchen was sufficient and the outside area was cosy. I would certainly recommend this hostel.

  Thank you for offering such a nice place to stay in Alicante. Me and my friend, we appreciated the location of the hostel which is close to the beach (15min by walk) but also to old city and places with vibrant night life. In the pub, which is part of the hostel, you can grab some beer and meet other guests of Ole. The staff was really friendly and helpful also with advising us about what to see in the city and where to go for a day trip and they also prepared sangria evening for guests. In the room you can find a tiny metal locker for your belongings. You can also borrow a towel for extra money which is convenient if you're travelling only with small backpack and don't have much space. In bathroom there was basket with almost all necessary things such as shampoo, shower gel an body lotion but I would consider a renovation of bathrooms because they seemed a little old and also only 2 out of 3 showers were working at the time of our stay. Also there was privacy curtain missing at my bed which I think is important to have when you are sleeping in the room with 11 more people (in my case).In general, I would recommend the hostel to anyone who is planning to visit Alicante for few days - service and quality for this price is very suitable for backpackers. I would choose Hostel Ole another time for sure.

  I enjoyed my stay here, the staff were really friendly and made me feel part of the group as I was a bit older than everyone else but that didn't matter. The place is kept clean and organised, however some lockers got broken into so that's why I'm not putting 5* but other than it was good. The pub crawl activity was great fun and reasonable, I would stay again.
