    pensioners jolly, location good, though some said nearby disco across the marina was loud, i find after 8 or 10 hrs being out its not a problem. room fine. what i'm really reviewing is the hot (i use the word hot mockingly) breakfast, if i was like the uk's european cousins and went for a cold meal in the morning, great. but i like to line the stomach at the start of the day, each morning i arrived at breakfast at different times and found they even put it out initially lukewarm, its the only hotel i've stayed at i've had to microwave my meal Great view from bar

    Great Location, view to die for, best we have ever had in all our years of travelling Staff very friendly and nothing too much troubleYes breakfast is busy but they do advertise in the lifts the peak times so it's your choice when to goBeds super comfy, 2 singles together which we preferShower in the bath I found a little difficult due to a poorly knee so had to be careful when getting in and out, could do with another hand railFresh towels everyday, room was spotless everyday, thank you AzabellaNeed key card for the lift is a good security itemThe rooms are dated and areas could do with a lick of paint and a refurb, but the business needs to operate and I am sure they will complete when they canWould have preferred complimentary water but no great dealThankyou we will return later in the yearMr and Mrs Mills 1703

    The hotel has a fantastic plot very near the marina, handy for Bush’s and probably 10 minutes from the tram. 5 rooms on each floor make for a sometimes long wait for the lift. Sadly no access to a balcony in most rooms. If you don’t have a shower over the bath the rooms floods very quickly when you shower. My main disappointment was the evening meal. It was 2* cafe at best. Everything is lukewarm/cold. One fish, one meat dish each night with a few mixed veg dishes and of course the salad bar. I ate a lot of cheese so fruit. Breakfast was so much better! One word of warning, there is an all night disco on the marina at the weekend. The noise is constant until 7am. I had to move rooms at a rather large premium. But I did sleep!

    Hotel is in a good location beside the beach and the old town.Bedroom ok but en-suite very old and grubby.Balcony very shabby with tiles cracked and broken and some missing completely.Breakfast was fine but dinner very bad, chicken wings as a main course???.Very windy on higher floors.It would struggle to make a 3 star rating.
