Location

This hotel is located on the Costa Blanca, at the heart of the Bonalba golf course. It is 10 minutes away from Alicante town centre (with direct access via the A7 motorway) and 4 km from Sant Joan d'Alacant and Muchavista beach. Alicante railway station is 15 km from the hotel. Alicante Airport is around 25 km away.

Facility

43 junior suites, 18 suites and 209 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by 4 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 10 conference rooms.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its indoor and outdoor pools and pleasantly heated water. Children can enjoy a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities are available at the complex, for example cycling/mountain biking and crazy golf or, for a fee, tennis and golf. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, snorkelling and diving. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café, a bar and a pub. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The holiday village offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Clean hotel just lacks a lot of different things

    Lovely clean hotel, pool area very nice plenty of sun beds. Breakfast just warm everyday and lack of choice for dinner is shocking for how big the hotel is. You’ve got to guess what you’re eating as nothing is labelled. Hardly no one speaks English so it’s quite hard to communicate. Lack of staff really disappoints this hotel, your waiting by the bar a good 10 mins every time you go up as there’s only ever 1 person serving, the bar is tiny and lack of options of drinks is shocking, only 2 drinks on tap and only 1 worked the whole time we were there. No entertainment what so ever.

    Pool only open at weekends ( we ignored the rules), lifts rarely worked, staff rude, bar manned by 1 guy, often closes early, we were told to drink up at 11:30 just after spending €88 euros on a round. Both restaurants flood at the slightest bit of rain. Avoid.     Wouldn’t bother wasting my money.

    I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately I would not recommend it, especially if you plan on visiting the city centre regularly. The hotel is extremely far out, and taxi fares are very expensive, making it inconvenient for tourists.The food was disappointing, and the overall service was poor. English-speaking guests may particularly struggle, as many reception staff spoke very limited English and were often rude and unhelpful rather than accommodating.The hotel itself has very little to offer. During off-peak season, the pool is closed during the week and only opens from 11am–7pm at weekends. There was no entertainment available and no excursions or activities offered through the hotel. If they do have entertainment- it’s in Spanish. Overall, the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming towards tourists. It seemed as though the hotel mainly caters to Spanish guests and makes very little effort to accommodate international visitors. For a so-called 4-star hotel, the standards of customer service were extremely disappointing.Whether you are visiting for golf or tourism, I genuinely would not book this hotel again.     We had a wonderful time during our recent stay. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and very well-located, but what really made the experience was the service. A huge shout-out to the bar man Oscar he was incredibly professional, made the best cocktails, and gave us some great local tips. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality.     Be aware!

    I was at this hotel with 15 friends to play golf. We had room, breakfast and dinner included which was fully paid in advance. On returning home many of us received extra charges on our credit cards that did not appear on our hotel invoice. When we contactd the hotel we got no answer as to these charges. My advice is that if you choose this hotel, on check in, do not leave a credit card imprint at the reception. Pay cash for any incidentals.
