  Location fantastic walking within 5mins of town centre, unique spacious clean rooms located within the gardens, lovely friendly staff, good value considering what you get for your money.

  Stayed at this beautiful hotel last night, staff were amazing kind and friendly, the rooms were beautiful, as were the grounds I only wished we could of stayed longer, perfect location, breakfast is well worth it, we will be back to stay again and try the restaurants, just book it, you won’t regret it.   We have just returned from two nights at the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the setting, the pool and the outside areas all fantastic.However our room No.136 was a disappointment. The air-conditioning switched itself off during the night before resetting to heat the room rather than cool so both nights that we stayed we were disturbed by having to try and sort out the temperature. The room smelt like the drains were blocked which was unpleasant and the thermostat on the shower doesn't work, so you have to move the lever constantly to find an acceptable water temperature, coupled with this the water from the overhead shower is very, very weak. When we reported these issues after the first night we were told that someone would look at the problems, the second night it was exactly the same. When we informed reception again on checking out, the receptionist said that they had looked at it and suggested that it was us that had adjusted the AC and that we just needed to wait for the shower to work. There was no attempt to offer any meaningful apology.So avoid room 136 and don't expect 4 star service from reception!   Came here on my honeymoon the morning after we were married, so we travelled overnight. We told reception (we had also emailed in advance to say that it was our honeymoon) and had a pretty disinterested response (must highlight that the breakfast staff are really friendly and helpful). We are returning guests and thought the place was beautiful last time. Junior suite wasn't as nice as previous room with damp patches and so many mosquitos (needed loads of spray and cream) and some of my bites turned into bruises. We got constantly bitten in the room, though they did bring us a plug in when we asked for one. Tea wasn’t replenished and we had to keep asking for more. We had to pay for the milk for our room to go with the tea. The pool is gorgeous and lovely to look at and the location stunning (except a big area dug up currently) but pool has become very busy with lots vaping around the pool, two couples even vaping openly inside the pool and a guest had to ask them to stop. It’s not as relaxing as before, drilling during one day and neighbours next to us through the night that had us wide awake at one am with their baby (which can’t be helped but not great when the place is advertised as a relaxing zen oasis). They did offer us a different room for our last night but we didn’t want to pack everything up and move stuff to pack again to leave the next day. It almost seems like they are over capacity. Elche itself is a gorgeous place to visit with so many restaurants and beautiful trees.   Our second visit. We previously visited two years ago,for three nights. This time we visited for five nights,we stayed in a garden room with 2 single beds pushed together and a double sofa bed(2 adults and 1 child) The hotel is in a beautiful,relaxing setting. The grounds are lovely and so is the pool. The hotel is looking dated in areas,compared to our previous visit. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly,the breakfast staff, very nice. The bar staff(minus Vlad who was very polite and professional) we found the rest to be quite unfriendly. One lady served us in the bar restaurant one evening and didn’t say a word,incredibly ignorant. The hotel is still lovely,but needs improvement in certain areas. The breakfast pastries were the same every morning and a lack of variety In juices,just little things that you’d expect from a four star hotel.one jacuzzi and the treadmill in the gym were ‘out of use’ for all of our stay. It is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting,so a few things as mentioned above shouldn’t put you off. 5 minutes walk into the Elche which is full of bars and restaurants and shops.
