Location

Situated on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, on the outskirts of the fishermen village of Villajoyosa, this hotel offers exceptional surroundings between the sea, beaches, well kept gardens and hills. It is 3 km from the centre of Villajoyosa where a wide variety of shops, opportunities for leisure activities and entertainment facilities can be found. Benidorm is 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel was renovated in 2025. The hotel has a lift and features 63 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the for a fee garage or the for a fee car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a page service. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with projector, fax machine and a flip chart and pens is available. Larger events can be organised with the help of the conference service.

Rooms

Air conditioning and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bidet. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are provided. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels.

Plenty of active relaxation awaits guests in the pool area's 2 outdoor pools. Even in bad weather, a swim in the indoor pool is always an option (for a fee). Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. Cycling/mountain biking and golf are organised by third-party operators. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and aromatherapy, are offered for a fee. Evening entertainment includes live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (à la carte and air conditioning). Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Diet meals and gluten-free meals can be prepared on request. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For a fee, there are also non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages.

    This hotel is wonderful. We are still here and it is coming to the end of the season so very quiet but in a way that makes it more special. The staff are fabulous. Every individual we have spoken with has been friendly, helpful and courteous. The room we have is amazing. It’s a comfort room with a huge balcony, two sunbeds and two chairs where we have enjoyed the weather and the views. The pool area is clean with pretty spectacular views across the Med towards Alicante. Breakfast is fantastic. Plentiful and fresh and you are not rushed. We have eaten in the relaxed Alhambra bar and the formal restaurant. Both are good - the formal restaurant was outstanding if you love fine dining! The gym is functional with a sea view and we plan to check out the spa later. All in all - we would definitely return for a relaxed high quality break from it all.     Needs some improvement

    Just returned from a short break at this hotel . All staff were friendly and helpful. Location was remote and had great views. Unfortunately the beaches were disappointing as one was a nudist beach and the other one was untidy. I assumed it was adults only hotel but kids were there. Had some food poisoning the second day which keeps me in the room for nearly two days. Such a pity as not 5 star

    We have been coming to this beautiful hotel for 18 years, it never fails to deliver in five star service. The greeting from all the staff is friendly welcoming but not too nuch. The accommodation is luxurious and clean, the cleaning staff are always so courteous. The breakfast is excellent and so too is the “restaurant on top” Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

    On arrival, it was obvious this wasnt going to be the experience we expected...or had paid for!Firstly the room wasnt ready, even although I had emailed weeks before to inform of early arrival, after asking 4 times we were finally given the room at 2.15pm. This could be solved by changing check out to 11am, giving staff more time.The room itself is not really romantic in any way, a couple of sheets draped from the ceiling plus old style walls and tiles, which felt in need of updating.The bed itself was comfy enough.There was no kettle in the room and we had to ask for hot water if we wanted a cup of tea, same at breakfast...dont assume everyone drinks coffee!Breakfast choice could be better, they only had some chopped fruit, no fruit bowl of choice. We also thought leftover fruit could be offered on the lunch menu, as this was mainly fried options and very limited, chips each day becomes boring!We must say how disappointed we were in the beaches, 1st one is not private, very dirty and thick with shingle stones, the 2nd beach is nudist and private, we didnt wish to join that.Shout out to the staff in the Alhambra Bar, very welcoming and helpful, food in there was lovely, as was the cocktails!All being said, sadly we not consider returning to the hotel or area, big let down considering money paid.This hotel is most certainly not a 5* hotel, lacks in more than one area and needs some attention.
