  We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Lucía at reception was absolutely perfect — helpful, pleasant, and genuinely welcoming. She made everything feel effortless and set the tone for a smooth, enjoyable stay.Check-in was quick, friendly, and drama-free, and every question we had was handled with real care. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel looked after straight away, but Lucía did exactly that.A brilliant stay overall, and service like hers is a big part of why we would happily return.   Didn't think it was worth price at all very expensive 200€ night is reasonable broken shower heads cracks in wall mini fridge didn't work I stayed in town house sea view thinking would be upgraded room was nice but way not worth the price ??   I had a really wonderful experience during my stay.The receptionist , Julio was incredibly, friendly, kind and very professional. He made me feel very welcome.   Stunning hotel, incredible views & worth every penny!

  I’ve just finished a 3-night stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante Porta Maris, staying Half Board in an INNSiDE Room with a sea view.I wasn’t able to complete the online check-in beforehand, but check-in at the hotel was quick and easy. It’s only around a 15–20 minute taxi journey from Alicante Airport and the location is absolutely stunning.First impressions definitely didn’t disappoint. The hotel is modern, clean and has a really great vibe – chilled music, lovely décor and it even smells amazing! The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful.The room ??????????My room was on the first floor and honestly, it was amazing. Huge room, massive double bed, lovely shower room, plenty of wardrobe space, tea and coffee facilities and a minibar with complimentary soft drinks. I also had a small balcony with the most incredible, uninterrupted sea view. I could happily have sat there all day!Breakfast – INCREDIBLE!One of the highlights. The choice is enormous and they genuinely seem to cater for everyone. I found going before 9am meant it wasn’t too busy. Also, hunt out the Nespresso machine – the coffee is great!DinnerThis was probably the weakest part of my stay. It wasn’t bad, but I expected a little more in terms of quality. The beef tacos and ham croquettes were quite average and lacked flavour, whereas the hummus starter and sea bass fillets were absolutely delicious.The restaurant also didn’t have quite the same atmosphere in the evening. Service could be frustrating at times – the staff themselves were lovely, but there simply didn’t seem to be enough of them, so getting someone’s attention wasn’t always easy.One important tip: pay the extra €2 for the tiramisu. Absolutely delightful!Pool & terraces ??The main pool area is lovely and I couldn’t believe there were NO sunbed wars! The first towel I noticed going down was around 8:30am and there were still plenty of beds available at 10am.The setting is gorgeous. You can look out directly over the sea, watch the hustle and bustle of Alicante and its beaches from the terrace, and listen to the waves crashing against the rocks while you’re lying by the pool. Bliss.There was entertainment during my stay too, including a DJ one day and a very cool violinist the next.Pool towels can be hired from reception with a €35 refundable deposit, which I thought was a little steep, although obviously you do get it back.One thing worth knowing is that the main pool goes into shade from around 1pm. There are still sunny spots for sunbathing until around 5pm, though. Definitely also find the other pool and bar on Floor 1 – it keeps the sun for around an hour longer, has a cool vibe and fantastic views, plus the poolside food menu is more extensive.Personally, I wouldn’t particularly recommend this hotel for families with young children. It has a much more grown-up, adult feel, which was perfect for me.Check-out is at 12 noon and luggage storage and shower facilities are available afterwards if needed.Overall, I absolutely loved my stay. The location, room, views, breakfast and pool areas were fantastic. I’d happily recommend the hotel or return.   The room facilities are quite basic. We stayed on a half-board basis, and from the fourth day onwards, having the same breakfast every day became quite boring. However, the biggest issue was the extremely poor sound insulation in the rooms. A lot of street noise could be heard inside, and sounds from the neighbouring room were so loud that it felt as if they were coming from our own room.
