Please do not even try to book anything to do with this hotel group. I had booked to stay at Jessica beach(not through trip advisor) unfortunately I had 2 cancellations of my flights with Ryanair so we were going to arrive 2 days late, we asked if we could extend our stay only to be told that we were never going to be staying at the Jessica beach apartments as they had double booked and they had put us into Palmera beach hotel, which I refused as it is only 2* at the most. We only found out as we were entering East Midlands airport to start our holiday. We had my in laws who are 87 & 82 years old and partially disabled which is why we had paid an extortionate price for a place virtually on the beach for them. We arrived basically with no where to stay and if it wasn't for very good friends who managed to find us somewhere I don't know what we would have done. Please do not book you will be totally let down and this apparently, from the ex pats who live here, happens all the time.

The apartment itself definitely needs updating. Beds and pillows were comfortable. You have to make up your beds, its not a hotel! Linen and towels were clean. If you want them changed you leave them outside and they will be replaced by the cleaner who visits the area daily. Kitchen had basic cutlery but enough for 4 of us. The apartment sleeps 6. There is a spiral staircase to the upper floor which may not suit younger children or the elderly. No air conditioning. The apartments are in a fantastic position overlooking the beach, that alone is enough to want to stay here again and again despite the tiredness of the property. It was lovely sitting on the verandah watching the world and people go by. Within 5 minutes you are walking on a pedestrianised area with lovely restaurants and bars, mostly with wifi. Sandy beach with good bars on them and great food. Good area for disabled people too, lots of ramps for wheelchairs and pushchairs etc. You collect the key of the property at the Palmera Beach Hotel a good 15 min walk or 5 min car ride. Also ask for a kettle and toaster as they are not in the apartments. Also remote control for the television (if your interested, all Spanish channels), is 10 euro returnable deposit. Also there is a buffet in the hotel which is very good. We had a really lovely stay here and want to go back despite the tiredness of the apartment. Give it a try! I don't see how we can rate this apartment in the review as it doesn't apply as its not a hotel.

We stayed at jessica beach apartments for a beach weekend , the price is great value for this incredible location, you can't get any closer to the beach and it's a fabulous beach too. The apartments are very basic , our apartment was clean, the linens were provided to make up your own beds, they are very small , but we loved it , no wifi , which actually suited us so that our children engaged with us, played games together and had real quality family time . Will definitely return. You have to go to the palmeras apartments which is further up the road to collect keys and pay a refundable €20 security deposit for the tv remote. You can pay a small sum to check in earlier as the standard checkin time is 1700, which is my only negative point as that is very late in the day to be able to get in your room. You can also pay more to keep the room longer than the 10am departure time, subject to availability.

Great wee apartments ..great view!! .basic but clean and all facilities . Clean Linen every day, toilet roll table cloths towels etc well worth booking ..this is through hotel chain where you need to go to to book in and get keys ..fab !

I have stayed in these apartments many times over the last 10 years. The owners are making great efforts to upgrade them and many of them are now fully refurbished. The location is outstanding, right by a lovely beach of silvery sand - I sit on the patio for hours watching the yachts and other boats drifting by. Just at the end of the block is a street of restaurants and bars offering outstanding value meals - especially if you go for the menu del dia. There is also a pharmacy, medical centre and supermarket nearby. The apartments themselves offer accommodation for up to 6 people. and are comfortable but not luxurious. Linen is changed twice weekly and freshly laundered towels provided whenever you need them - you just leave them outside. There is a washer, electric cooker, fridge freezer, iron and board and they are fully furnished and equipped.Everyone one you deal with is pleasant and helpful, and the hotel even sent a cake down for my birthday during this last stay. If you book for a month you get an excellent price reduction too! I will be returning to this idyllic location very soon.
