overall i was not fully satisfied with my experience at la marina resort. although there were also several areas that could beimproved. the food service and overall experience did not meet my expectations. i hope the resort will take guest feedback seriously and make improvements in the future.

Bedbugs in the sunbeds next to pool

We was there in a day visit, all day we was on the big bed with madrass next to the pool. At the evening we had a lot of iching on the bodys, we went to the pharmasia and they told us that it is bedbugs, when you get bit alog of times in the same plase it is bedbugs and not mosquito. When the cleaning is not good, the bedbugs will come they said. We needed to clean everything because of the animals can come with us home. Ofc the resort say it is mosquitos and not bedbugs, but they said it is over 100 people that use the pool everyday, so ofc the cleaning og the beds is not good.Stay away if you dont want bedbugs with you home!!

I expected different áreas for motorhomes/caravans and tents, as they represent completely different camping experiences and approaches.The campsite is quite noisy, and there is very little respect for quiet hours.

Great Family Stay, But Facilities Need Some Attention

If you're considering La Marina Resort for a family holiday, this is our honest take after two stays. The swimming pool is fantastic, there's plenty to keep the kids entertained, and having the beach so close by- 10 min walk- makes it ideal for families. We'd happily recommend it on those points alone.A few things worth knowing before you go: the toilet and shower facilities is looking quite outdated, with some door locks not working and a few doors damaged - a renovation would make a real difference here. The wifi could also do with an upgrade, so don't rely on it for anything important.We'd also suggest the resort look into installing an automatic waste disposal station, like the ones from Camperclean or similar ones - now used at several campsites - it makes managing waste much less unpleasant. Drainage on the pitches is another area to watch, as we had issues with grey water overflow from blockages during our stay.None of this stopped us from having a great time, and we'd go back for a third visit. Just worth going in with realistic expectations on the facilities side while enjoying everything else the resort has going for it.
