  This hotel is located close to the center of Calpe and in walking distance to a supermarket. (LIDL) IT IS VER NICELY DECORATED and has nice rooms with balcony and beautiful view to the cost line. It also has 2 restaurants that are nice but quite expensive. But overall a good place to stay

  On arriving at the apartment it looked like a derelict pub, arrived at the apart hotel at 1, asked for an early check in and no one was here to greet us. Only person around was a cleaner and she said reception would be open at 3, 3 came and went so I asked her to call someone her reply will be here in 10 mins. So 20mins later someone turned up. Checked in got shown to our room which was clean apart from the shower which was grubby, and the floor could have done with a sweep and mop. The lad said here is the password for the Internet shown us a meal menu which said the bar was open from 10-22 hrs (bar was never open). No food was available, we noticed that the Bar opened today due to a influx of Spanish guest. It says on the web page that you have a daily maid service well we didn't see the maid once, go into our room. Asked for clean towels and said we don't get any have to made do with the ones we have for the week.They seem to be selling off the apartments as you can tell from the photos,since we arrived we have not seen 1 member off staff apart from Thursday 28th when he was showing a buyer one of the for sale apartment..It also states that all rooms are soundproof, well the walls are that thin you could hear word for word of the people in the next room. This apart hotel seem to cater more for the Spanish that the British as all the other guest got their rooms cleaned. The patio area is nothing like the photo on the web page, it's old and uncomfortable to sit on and the Bbq area is non existent, the sitting area is crushed concrete and is awaiting paving, very easy to go over as big pieces lying around. I don't how they got a 3* rating I would only give them a 2* at a push. I would not describe the welcome we got as friendly. Last night we did not sleep 3 dogs barking locked in the room next door rowdy Spanish outside by pool until 4 am we asked them to quieten down which was met with rudeness and patronising remarks . It's a hell hole keep well clear
