  Great Value, lovely staff

  The location is remote with steep hills. The local shop has reasonable prices and everything you need, and 4 local bars/restaurants are great, although 15 - 30 minutes walk depending which one you go to . A bus stops immediately outside reception taking you to El Campello and further. To El Campello 20mins away and only €1.50 one way. We enjoyed the hotel, although some hot food could be kept hotter and drinks prices reduced. The desserts were particularly lovely, fresh bread and nice fruit juices at breakfast. All the staff are amazing and friendly and for the price this hotel is great.

  Worth a night's stay ...lovely set up and views . Book a deluxe room with good view, some suites need overhaul. Great value for money , food excellent both for breakfast and dinner .   Beautiful resort but ......

  First and foremost this is a lovely resort, large clean rooms, best breakfast I've ever had in any hotel, lovely pool, friendly staff (except for Beach Bar). However, I cannot recommend this hotel for old people. We are in our 80,s and struggled. It is built on the N face of the Eiger, the streets are paved with tiles and cobbles which are lovely to look at but difficult to walk on with aged legs and our lift was broken for 3 days.They do have golf buggies to help. Bit of an end of term atmosphere as some of the facilities were closed eg you coudn't get a cup of coffee after breakfast which was a bit of a surprise in a Spanish hotel. The Beach Bar was poorly stocked unless you only wanted beer and the staff very surly. The whole resort is a bit isolated with nothing walkable close by. There is a local bus that goes up and down the coast.If you rely on wifi for whatever reason that kept going down as well.Apart from breakfast we didn't try the restaurant but the 2 restaurants by the reception area were very good. We did walk to the nearby Tandoori place as we were told it was only a 10 min walk. Took us half an hour but it was very good and the owner gave us a lift back.All in all a nice holidat but slightly tarnished.   We stayed here for the second time, and we liked it as much as the first time. The service is very good, everyone is kind and helpful. Okay, some things could be better, old kitchen and there are no pots and pans and so on (you can ask for it), but we're fine with it. The bed is great and big, but I prefer my own pillow. The food is good, sometimes it could be hotter. But we will come again when we're in the neighborhood.......   Location is beautiful although remote. The 2 restaurants next door are really good. The pool is pretty small and they offer games (for children) a few times a day. The pool bar service is incredibly slow. Definitely worth getting the buggy to your room if its available. It can be quite an uphill walk from Reception. The room was really big and comfortable bed. The toilet was really close to the sink. Could have been a problem if it was a larger person. The windows are big and have a great aesthetic. Would personally not stay here again as there were a lot of children.
