Very pleasant stay, with one or two caveats.

We enjoyed our recent 8 day stay at the Parador, our second in four years. The staff throughout are excellent, helpful and efficient. The Parador's sublime location never loses its attraction, with so much to look at from the guest rooms, over the lovely gardens, across the bay.The room we stayed in, as before, was large and comfortable, but in need of some refurbishment. The bathroom was looking tired and various aspects of the bedroom, doors, drawers, lampshades, curtains etc need quite urgent attention. Breakfasts were excellent. The guest charge for the car park at 15€ per day is ridiculously high; ironic when drinks and snacks in the bar are quite reasonably priced. We will return, but I hope it will be to a sensitively refurbished Parador with more fairly priced parking. Excellent location for local amenities and of course the beach.coGood secure parking.The old town is well worth a visit, but suggest a short taxi drive which can be booked through reception.
