  The 3 star palace was really a 2 star.

  this hotel is a 35 minute walk to the center of town where the cafes are located. The dinning was full every night and difficult to get a seat. The room was tired and needed new furniture. Not good value because food was very basis and cheap. The hotel was clean and very busy. The pool area was busy with large groups of children on slides most of the day. The evening entertainment was 2 star. the local beach was 15 minute walk and had seaweed covering large parts of the beach the sand.   Fantastic service. Super fast check in and check out. Busy but so efficient. Consistently good service - every single staff member was smiling and helpful - some incredible management to get that right with kids screaming and throwing tantrums in every corner!Food not bad at all for the price (we booked last minute and it was very very reasonable). Location is a little far from the town - but if you like running the 4K path pit to las Robes can’t be missed. Just one minor niggle - they give you one long pillow rather than two pillows in the bed. Really not good for marital harmony!!   Stayed here for a recent family wedding,seven nights all inclusive,nice hotel,spotless clean,rooms small but adequate,good air con,nice balcony with pool and sea view,decor a bit dated. Couple of minutes to the Marina and beach with nice restaurants,tried the Cut and Fuego,both excellent.Lovely backdrop of Montgo mountain and national park.Staff all friendly,bar service very slow,food basic and repetitive and hard to stick for a week,all inclusive drinks poor as well.Pool area nice,plenty of sunbeds,waterslides and fun area for the grandkids.Denia is a lovely typical Spanish town,the main shopping area is about 10 mins from the hotel and worth a visit.   Can be very noisy

  Port Denia is a great hotel with really friendly staff, good food and very clean rooms.My wife and I have been staying here for many years and thoroughly enjoyed our stays.However this May we were really disappointed to find that this hotel is now allowing groups of 50 or more young teenage children in with very little no more control.This change in hotel policy is enough for couples who pay good money every year to rethink and possibly stay elsewhere.   Latin dancing and fabulous food.

  Excellent hotel fantastic food friendly stuff always very helpful, but for me the dancing classes with Veronica who is an excellent teacher and dancer is what brings me back every year. I always look forward to Veronica and Melina classes. The entertainment team works hard in the evenings too. If you love food and Latin dancing Port Denia is your hotel.I look forward for my next visit.
