    LOUD, and inconsiderate management

    I have never been to an upper end hotel that had major reconstruction work going on for the entire day and into the evening. Most places close their doors during renovation and cease taking reservations, but not the Reconquista. We were in Oviedo where my wife had a medical procedure and needed to rest during the day, but the jackhammers and power tools went on until 7 or 8 pm, and started up before 8 a.m.

    The hotel has a great location and working AC, but it feels like it got stuck somewhere between 1987 and a half-hearted attempt to update the place.After a long day we tried to find something to eat during the siesta. That’s basically impossible between 4 and 8 pm in this town. We literally had to negotiate our way to a bag of chips for the kid.Later that evening we ate at the hotel restaurant and ordered a fruit salad. What arrived was one lonely sliced apple on a plate. Not wrong, just kind of depressing.Breakfast the next morning was just as creative. Super limited. Definitely don’t come hungry.The rooms? Walls so thin you get a front row seat to your neighbors’ conversations and coughing. We also found someone else’s hair in the bathroom and there were way too few power outlets.Staff were friendly, but that doesn’t really save the experience. The hotel works if you just need a bed to sleep in — as long as you bring your own breakfast, earplugs and an extra socket or two.

    Great hotel, clean, Lovely staff, close to everything. Great views from our balcony . We will definitely recommend it 👍 walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants. The room was really big and comfortable bed . The only negative- parking slightly expensive, but safe

    Very nice hotel if visiting Alcoy and The All Saints Market in Cocentaina

    Good hotel, very clean and the Junior Suites are very spacious and clean. Would definitely visit again. Handy for the bus to the November All Saints Market as you can catch the bus for 1.50 euro each, just round the corner from the hotel. Great restaurant/bar across the road from the hotel and car parking nearby.

    During our cycling tour in Alicante we had one night on this hotel, which was big and old and a bit worn out looking - just like some soviet hotel in 60s. Breakfast was normal, none fruits or vegetables. Room was not small, but nothing special, good bed. We did not have dinner at this hotel, due the menu looked not good, cheap it was, but, no thanks.Best point was that the hotel is situated near the art-deco old city center. The art-deco bridge started just on the hotel´s corner. This art-deco city is worth to walk around.
