Location

This hotel is located in the stunning Costa Blanca, in the charming small city of Alcoy. Links to the public transport network lie about 50 m away.     Hotel Sercotel Ciutat D'Alcoi erroneous room listing and zero accountability - Avoid

    I booked this hotel through Booking.com specifically because the room was advertised as having two double beds. On arrival, the room contained only two large single beds. This was not a minor discrepancy — it was a materially different room configuration from what was advertised and what I had selected.When I raised the issue, the manager stated that the incorrect description was Booking.com’s responsibility. Booking.com, however, advised that room descriptions are provided by the hotel. As a paying guest, I should not be placed in the middle of a blame-shifting exercise between the property and the booking platform.Despite multiple follow-up emails to Booking.com seeking redress, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered.Accurate room descriptions are fundamental to informed booking decisions. In this case, the listing was misleading, and the lack of accountability was disappointing. I would urge future guests to double-check bed configurations directly with the hotel before arrival.

    Stayed at Sercotel Ciutat D'Alcoi with friends, and it was amazing! The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the pool (or another feature you enjoyed) and the cosy common areas where we could hang out. The location was perfect, close to all the best spots.     Sercotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. We were able to find street parking close by. Overall I feel like our stay here was a bargain and would stay again. The AC was cold and beds we're nice. The only thing I can think of is it would be nice to have a blanket.
