  The apartments are spotless and fully renovated since two years. Ours overlooked one of the busiest street of Alicante, Calle Mayor, but it was perfectly soundproofed. The location is strategic for both access to the beach and a nice stroll along the Esplanada. The staff is based at the hotel next door to the Ayuntamiento and is very professional. If I stay in teh area again, I'll certainly come back.

  We had a wonderful few days staying here (4B); the accommodation was comfortable, modern & the location couldn’t have been any better. The reception staff at the nearby hotel where we checked in were welcoming & most helpful with any queries we had. Thank you !

  Perfect location in Alicante.

  We stayed in one of the suites here for 5 nights recently. The location couldn’t be better - just a few metres from the Cathedral and Town Hall and with any number of nice restaurants just around the corner. Perfect if you like this warm nights sitting out with a glass of wine in the old town but just a few moments from home. These are very spacious modern apartments in an old building just around the corner from the Eurostars Hotel where you check in. You can use the hotel facilities too if you want. There’s a lounge area, bathroom (shower only) and bedroom. There’s a kitchen area too with fridge, hob and microwave. There’s also a washing machine - but no iron. (An iron was supplied on request).Our apartment had three juliet balconies and floor to ceiling windows. Despite this, it was quiet at night and you should get a good night’s sleep.The apartment was hard to beat in most respects although a couple of small items could be better. Firstly, none of the wardrobes were tall enough to hang dresses. A simple hanger on one of the walls or doors would fix this. Secondly, the ‘smart TV’ wasn’t connected to the internet and you couldn’t access the rear to plug in any devices. Existing for a few days without Netflix wasn’t a problem but it would be nice to have the option. Overall though - just about perfect for a few nights soaking up the atmosphere in the old town.By the way, did I mention that the beach is just a short walk? There’s a very handy taxi rank and supermarket nearby too. You can also walk to the central market and tram stops.

  Couples getaway - would highly recommend.

  Me and my boyfriend stayed in the apartment with the terrace last week for 5 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and the terrace made it. The sun was on the terrace nearly all day and was a perfect spot for relaxing! The apartment was minimal but equipped with everything we needed, microwave, kettle, hob (which we didn’t use), fridge, washing machine, airer, spacious living room area etc. I’ve seen other reviews say the bed is too small but we found it very comfortable (may be a stretch if your 6ft and over though..). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful on check in and were happy to book us a taxi on departure. It should be mentioned that the wifi code given on arrival was incorrect and we had to call to get the correct one, but easily fixed. There is a slight sewage smell when you walk back in to the room especially when it’s hot but with the windows open we did not notice this after a while. The building itself is in a fabulous location with restaurants surrounding and the nicest coffee shop at the bottom of the building, also the beach is only a 5 min walk max! The view from the balcony is astonishing as from the bedroom window - perfect view of the castle! Overall very very pleased and would highly recommend for a comfy stay!

  Lovely apartment BUT with a strong sewage smell!

  The suite with the terrace on the top floor is great if you're after a studio in Alicante with outside space. I would have rated it as wonderful based on the outside space alone, except it absolutely stinks!!! They need to fix this problem before they let people stay here again.We noticed a sewage smell that kept coming and going and tried to ignore it. The smell comes from the sitting room which is really strange as it's not close to the bathroom. On the third night it was so overpowering in the living room where my 4 year old was sleeping that we couldn't risk him sleeping in there anymore. The hotel said no one could check it out until 10am the next morning so my son ended up sleeping in the hallway instead, as the main bed and bedroom are so small we couldn't fit him in with us. It really ruined the stay.
