  The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature with breathtaking mountain views that make it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were modern, beautifully designed, and offered great privacy. The staff was professional and attentive throughout the stay. really enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere of the hotel, pure luxury with tranquility.   We stayed at Vivood on a half board basis for 4 nights in a spa pool cabin number 39 (the very end one). The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly both at reception, concierge and the bar and restaurant. The food was amazing - always lots of it and great quality. Breakfast platters were outstanding and 3 course dinners were superb. Special thanks to Pedro who made us feel very welcome and always had time to chat and talk about our day no matter how busy the restaurant was. The cabin itself was lovely - we were at the end of the track so a bit of a walk up and down to the restaurant as we chose not to use the on call buggy, very quiet and beautiful surroundings. the view to wake up to was stunning even on a cloudy day, the bed was super comfy - my only issue was not enough clothes hangers in the wardrobe. This is the place to go to switch off and get away from life for a few days.   A "Martian base" at luxury prices: When marketing outshines reality

  There is no denying the beauty of the natural surroundings or how special it feels to have a private connection with the wild landscape. This concept is what thrilled us when choosing Vivood, but the materialization of that idea fails miserably. The experience feels like a purely commercial product focused on the SPA and the restaurant; beyond that, true hospitality is non-existent.The Room: Discomfort in a cramped spaceSleeping poorly in a place that promises a "unique experience" creates an inevitable dissonance. The room is tiny and induces anxiety: * Constant noise: The fridge hums incessantly, and the sound of the exterior air units is a constant reminder that you are in a prefabricated module. In such a small space, every noise is amplified, creating a sense of unease. * Neglected details: The bed is hard, and rest is impossible with a projector LED shining directly into your eyes or the zipper of the pillow scratching the back of your neck. * The bathroom: The "cherry on top" is a toilet area of barely one square meter—windowless and made of synthetic materials that reinforce the feeling of a soulless, prefab cubicle.Lack of warmth and functionalityThe general atmosphere is that of living in a "Martian base" built with recycled materials and assembled without care. It conveys a purely functional existence where the shower lacks water pressure, and there is no room to even open a suitcase or hang towels. It boils down to a generic cubicle for sleeping and changing clothes. I have stayed in many hotels with this concept, but usually with worse views and, frankly, less pretentious marketing.Service and Dining: A rigid structureThe bar service is non-existent because the staff seems entirely focused on the restaurant diners. It is frustrating that they cannot even remove mayonnaise from a sandwich "because it’s already pre-applied." Beyond the formal restaurant, there are no real edible options, and the menu—betting everything on a "radical" and limited selection—is simply too restrictive.Feedback that ignores the guestI usually give the management a chance to respond before posting a negative review, but their satisfaction survey is a trap: it only asks about the SPA and the restaurant. There was no real interest in knowing my experience as a guest in the room; the "general comments" box was tiny and dismissive.Since no one bothered to ask how to improve my stay, I am sharing it here: when you visit a hotel of this caliber, you want to feel special and live your own dreams, not just be a footnote in someone else’s commercial dream. A massive disappointment.
