Location

The apartment complex lies just 250 m from the nearest kilometre-long sandy beach. It is close to the centre and the commercial area with restaurants, bars, pubs, supermarkets, chemists, a medical centre and a diverse selection of shopping and entertainment venues. Links to the public transport network are around 50 m away.

Facility

The apartment complex has 80 apartments. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, tennis, are offered at the complex. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, snorkelling and diving. The complex offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, billiards and squash or, for a fee, table tennis. A spa and solarium are available in the wellness area. Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and a kids' club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. At breakfast and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner.

    We stayed at these apartments in August 2023 and had a really lovely time. The swimming pool and bar areas were a real highlight. The staff were lovely, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. The only negative I would offer us that some of the apartments are a little dated but this was not a mojor problem for us or the other 3 families we were travelling with. Roquetas De Mar is a lovely area with miles and miles of pristine coastline and plenty of family activities which makes for a great holiday. The place was spotless all round. Our group were not flying out until late evening on our departure day and the staff allowed us to remain in our apartments until 7pm on that day at no extra cost. A lovely touch that was really appreciated by our group and gave us an extra day on holiday essentially. I would highly recommend Roquetas I general and these apartments in particular.

    two lovely weeks!!

    We (my husband and I) recently returned from two weeks at the apartments. We were very agreeably surprised at the little "oasis" we had discovered. From 1st class standard of cleanliness,to a spacious apartment overlooking the pool area, the accommodation was very good. The pool area was supervised and kept spotless by lifeguards, who were excellent and did not allow sunbeds to be reserved, or horseplay in the pool.The reception staff very friendly and helpful..a little Spanish language skill on the part of the customer helps! The clientele appear predominantly Spanish.The only concern was the security, The restaurant had open access from the street. which also allowed people into the apartment complex. It made the locked gate at the front of the complex a little pointless! Talking of the bar/restaurant it was not up to the standard of the rest of the complex. (drink prices fluctuated, with no list of prices to guide us and the food quality left a lot to be desired.However, that said we both loved it and we have made our minds up to return at earliest chance.     Lovely complex,spotless and well kept.All staff very friendly and helpful, chap on reception on arrival was a gentleman,so polite,friendly and helpful. Rooms are bigger than average.Good self catering facilities and very comfy beds. Location excellent, not far from everything but very quite at night. Very secure, locked gated at entrance to access complex and locked gate also on patio door. Air con in sitting room and ceiling fans in bedrooms.Ample storage and plenty of hangers. Laundry room available free of charge.Would not hesitate to stay again

    I stayed at the apartments for 3 nights in mid August with my wife and 2 year old son. The apartments are dated but they are spotlessly clean. The location of the apartment is ideal for al types of tourist. Only 10 minutes max walk to the beach and strip that had supermarkets (Spar), bars and restaurants which are all well priced. (There is a Cuban restaurant alon the strip which is ideal as well as a “Cana y tapas” restaurant as well where you get a tapas and small beer for €2). The best part about the hotel is the pool. Really big and plenty space for all guests and there is a separate kid’s pool also. Gardens are well kept and there is a small play park for kids also. No inflatables are allowed but that is honestly a good call as then the pool would be overrun with them. We didn’t experience any issue with towels being taken off beds when we went for lunch or there not being enough beds to sunbathe. The ONLY downside I would say about the hotel is that the pool does not open till 11am. However, that does allow you to have a lie in and not feel like you have to rush when you first get up. The pool is usually quiet between 2-4 ish as a lot of people take siestas then. The cafe was very reasonably priced and food was nice. Not luxury again but perfect for a quick breakfast, snack or drink. We had a tostada and a coffee for only €2 each morning. The staff at the hotel were excellent and couldn’t do anymore to help us during our stay; recommending restaurants and organising taxis (€55 direct to Almeria airport which is the standard). A great hotel for families and also for couple. Would highly recommend it and would definitely return.

    Great 12 nights in Moguima

    Moguima apartments were great place to stay. It is 8 minutes walk from the sea/ beach Serena. The apartment was clean ,cleaned 3 x in 12 days. The terrace was lovely, overlooking the pools which are clean and maintained all the time. Air-condition only in the main area, but was not a problem at all. A real family place, with lost of shade around the pool. The whole resort is not new, but kept in good shape a nd maintained well . Reception staff very friendly and professional, Xavier was very helpful. Would recommend to stay , good spot for relaxing, as well good starting point for visiting Andalusia famous venues like Malaga, Cabo de Gata national park, Almeria, Alhambra...just rent a car at europcar in Roquetas.
