    Lovely hotel

    rating28 May 2026

Perfect location, stone throw across road to beach. If wind in wrong direction then unswimmable due to huge waves. All week this was case. But beach generally empty, and Mojacar itself same. There are a few masseurs on beach 30 euros for 30 mins and they are very good. This is predominantly a Spanish holiday resort with brits dotted about. Entertainment was in Spanish. There was bingo one night, quiz, magic act. From 9-10pm. There are a few activities such as ping pong, yoga or football. AI applies to the buffet meals, there is no snack bar or drinks available outside of meal times. This likely changes in height of Summer. Resort from reception to rooms and grounds is spotless. Dining room experience good, lots of food, varied but became repetitive that we ate out twice which was expensive but awesome. The Sensations restaurant was very good. AI drinks spirits were acceptable. Some premium brands and local. The tequila and Malibu were unusual as were cocktails. Wines were very good, San Miguel on tap was very nice. Rooms, 2 bed apart, spacious, bathroom good, hot water ran out after 3rd shower.Beds acceptable, pillows too soft leading to sore neck. Pools large always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, no hogging of these at 7am. It's not open til 11am anyway and closes 7pm. I guess will be later in Summer.Water cold, as long as you moving is fine. There are 3 pools and kids pool. Ball games and li los or inflatables are not allowed, they have lifeguards on all time. All in all very happy with hotel, food could be hotter than tepid but no delhi belly for us. The on demand stir fry, omelette, pancakes and burgers/grills were good. They book in large groups of university students it seemed on some days so pressure on kitchen and bar/sunbeds was more intense some days.I quite liked that there were no rowdy brits spoiling this hotel and it was very good family atmosphere with very professional staff from bar to buffet to reception.Last note. This place is remote, there are trips to various places but pricey. The Capo de Gata nature reserve may be 38 euros but you need a car to get there and it's 100 euros at least to hire a car. 200 euros for family of 4 to go snorkelling for 2 hrs. Er no. The water park doesnt open til June. We were glad we came and were happy to just chill by pool or beach. If you want something lively then this is not for you.

All inclusive week in the sun with toddler

    rating22 May 2026

Honest review, couple with a two year old. All inclusive.. 7 nights. On arrival pleased with the hotel location and views over the sea. Was great to see so many shops and restaurants around the hotel. Check in was smooth, wasn’t given much information about location of everything at hotel so had to find this out ourselves. Hotel food- was ok, although we were all inclusive we ate out 4 nights due to it being repetitive and when we did see something we liked it didn’t taste great. Our diet consisted of chips, I wouldn’t recommends all inclusive with having lots of food places and shops near by. Drinks were good, branded alcohol & Pepsi ect, only 1 bar open in May. NO POOL BAR, was about a 10 minute walk to get a drink from children’s pool.. check this when booking!!! Apartment- spacious which is nice with having a two year old. Cleaning was poor, found socks under bed, dirty floor and when it was “cleaned” they would replace towels and make beds, the room never felt clean personally. Aircon didn’t work in living area but made use of the one in bedroom. Entertainment was good, started at 9pm and finished at 10oclock so lots of late nights but don’t mind this on holiday. Another thing food tea time is 8oclock at night which we felt was too late. Children’s splash park was the best part and this made our holiday! (Would of been better if we could access the all inclusive drinks without walking 15 mins back to bar) my little girl loved this, all slides are great for toddlers and she had so much fun everyday. Parasols need replacing, the poles would often fly out the base causing you to flinch and worry about being hit while sunbathing. Overall, wouldn’t go again. I would visit the same area but different hotel. if your looking for an apartment with a sea view, near shops and food places then it could be for you.
