    The hotel has its own style but the furnishings and fabrics are quite aged and would need to be renovated.The description on booking talks about soundproof rooms, ours was not at all. Daily cleaning was hasty and approximate: one day there was no soap, one day there was even a sheet missing, we slept directly in contact with the quilt....Among other things, upon our arrival the linen and bathroom products were only present for one guest; that same evening we asked the concierge who very kindly provided us with a bathrobe, towels and slippers. We enjoyed four breakfasts, always arriving at the same time, around 9.30: the first two mornings the buffet was very varied and plentiful, while the other two mornings there was much less variety of desserts, the savory trays were half empty and above all the staff, different from the previous days, were not up to the task... we asked for an espresso and a cup was brought to us full to the rim.... on the last day we asked for a short espresso, helping ourselves with the translator into Spanish for fear of not being clear... we always received a "swill", sorry for the term, which looked like an American coffee in a small cup.So, what can I say, for being a 4 star, we're not quite there!

    Nice location, quite old fashioned. Personal is kind. The Room is small, old decor and with AC doing too much noise. Carpet all around the place.Without enough sockets and no USB. For parking, only can access small cars, mine is a Passat and couldn’t be parked on their own, nevertheless there is one just on the side, inconvenient for taking luggage as the hotel doesn’t have a front door space for unloading luggage.

    The Hotel has probably stopped in the 1980s to add anything in terms of development and refurbishment. The room itself with a carpet full of zones of different shadings, old furniture with scratches, a bed where the substruction seemed to be dismantled and far to short for the kingsize bed being booked.The bathroom showed mildew in corners of the bathtub, cracks at the wall, an old wodden toilet lid on top of the ceramic.Also, beside the "Hardware" the service at breakfast was a shame, unfriendly and not custom like.This is the worse hotel I ever was in my life (Hundreds so far) and I don't have any idea why anyone would rate that place for stay with 4 stars instead of max. 2

    Super recommended!Nice staff, reception available 24/7 perfect for late check-in.Few blocks from public transport straight to city center.Nice neighborhood, perfect for a 2-day stay Good variety in breakfast.

    Ruben at the front desk was awesome! I everything was perfect from checking to checkout. Location is good and rooms are big for Madrid. The I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that might want to stay here long or just a quick stay like we did!
