  Booked Dream suites apartment for three nights in January 20 in Almeria. Unfortunately due to storm Gloria we were unable to reach this destination. We made great effort to update the staff daily with our situation and eventually were unable to stay any of the nights we had booked here as our ferry to the mainland of Spain from Ibiza was cancelled on three consecutive days. This had a knock on effect on all of the accommodation we had booked for that week, and although other hotels and apartments we had booked refunded our booking fees, dream suites flatly refused to refund the cost even though we had not used any of their rooms or facilities. I even provided written proof from the ferry company that our ferry had been cancelled, however Dream suites were adamant that they would not even partially refund any of the booking costs. I find this totally unreasonable, and my advice is if you book this accommodation beware of their inflexibility in this instance. I would not use this company again as I feel that they have shown no compassion regarding our situation and obviously care more about taking your money over anything else.   Great place to stay

  Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was really good value. Great, central location - pretty much in the heart of Almería. Accessed the building easily/seamlessly with clear instructions and contact via WhatsApp. A modern interior, spotlessly clean, everything you could want/need (though we didn’t cook), comfortable beds.... all excellent apart from one thing and that was simply noisy neighbours in the flat above who had no consideration for others when clonking about in the early hours on wooden floors.   Secure and comfortable base for visiting the city

  Situated in an anonymous-looking side road but less than three minutes' walk from the Puerta de Purchena, this was a secure and well-appointed apartment that proved to be an ideal base for our week-long visit to the city.Accessed via a key code to the building and then lift and door key to a very substantial front door, this was part of a modern block of small apartments that may have been a mix of holiday and residential users.Good points: excellent wi-fi, well-equipped kitchen (but no kettle or teapot!), huge fridge/freezer, comfortable sofa, large TV (all Spanish channels), good linens, comfortable beds, very good shower but hopelessly small bathroom sink. A problem with two lights and a missing bottle opener was resolved promptly.Not so good points: some noise from adjoining apartments, including a disconcerting connection via the cooker hood which brought in neighbouring conversations and their cooker hood noise; the proximity of the bathroom to the bedroom (glass walls and doors) could be a bit too intimate for some; poor lighting above the sofa if you wanted to read in the evening. There was a worrying lateness in providing the access code and apartment number etc, arriving only after we had left via WhatsApp, which left us worrying when en route that we would arrive to find no apartment.It is quite possible to get the bus from the airport and walk via side roads to the apartment if you do your research in advance using Google maps.Overall however excellent value and definitely recommended.

  My Husband and I stayed at the Dreams Suites and apartments for one week. We arrived late in the evening, no one was there to let us in, we had to telephone for assistance. Once in we found the room had very little daylight and could not leave the windows open as we were on the ground floor.We were not offered any cleans towels or bedding or toilet rolls during our weeks stay.As we had travelled from the UK and our flight didn't depart until late, we asked if we could check out at 2pm, rather than 11am and were told no, but could leave our luggage in the room until 2pm. We left the room at 11am and lucky for us we only went to sit up on the roof top as we received a message asking us to remove our luggage from the room as someone else was waiting to get in, we showed the cleaner the message we had received confirming that this had been agreed ! There is no where to store luggage in the building other than a locked cleaners cupboard but as there were no bathroom facilities we had no option but to leave the apartments and go and sit in cafes to use the toilet and a park bench for 6 hours so not happy at all.

  A great find through hotels.com. Just what we needed for a 2 night stay. Only downside is there is no parking available. Also I can't understand why an apartment doesn't have a kettle? A full size ironing board would be appreciated too rather than a table top one. Apart from that great location and good for a few nights stay.
