  Undue cancellation, questionable business practices

  Questionable trade policies. We booked an apartment for a week via their website. The next day we receive a message that our reservation is cancelled. In response to our request for explanation, the sales department tells us that there was a technical problem. We return to the site to make a new booking to discover that the promotional offers we had benefited from are no longer available generating an additional cost of several hundred euros. We tell the sales department that this is precisely why our reservation has been cancelled! To avoid, this kind of business practice says a lot about how you treat your customers.   Amazing value for money.   Horrendous noise intrusion in room - no resolution, or responsibility taken by hotel. Never again.

  Foolishly booked three nights, drawn in by their apparent 5 Star guff. Horrendous sound intrusion in rooms. You can clearly hear people taking showers, talking loudly, flicking switches and moving furniture. The long dark corridor leading to the rooms is tiled with 1ft square tiles, which works wonders for the amplification of seemingly constant suitcase trolley noise. Genuinely sounds like a train chugging along its tracks. Our sleep was disturbed every single night by loud inconsiderate people that this establishment appears to attract. I complained on the first night, primarily because I had been awoken by late check ins- suitcases (several) at 2310hrs, followed by furniture noise, chatting, showers etc etc went on beyond midnight. Night reception manager was pleasant, but no reassurance of remedying the situation was received other than a half hearted offer of possibly moving us further along the long corridor. I clearly stated that we would be willing to be moved anywhere away from the disturbances, I received a shoulder shrug followed by “it’s a hotel” which implies that the entire hotel is noisy everywhere. At least a member of staff was sent to speak to the new arrivals, but that was a whole different calamity. I was also informed that the people next door were leaving next day, as if to remedy the situation. They did leave, but obviously the problems continued, because the fault was with the hotel. Checking people in at stupid hours and rooms that are not fit for purpose - as in sleep. My impression was that this hotel simply accepted that it was a noisy environment and as a consequence guests would have their sleep disrupted. There was no further contact nor follow up after our first night and as a consequence we shall never return again. It’s a shame because the staff were pleasant and the facilities good. The Spa is dated and dingy, but the Spa staff exceptionally brilliant. Overall though, if you simply cannot get a good nights rest and the management make no effort to resolve an obvious problem, what’s the point? We were actually relieved when we left. Never again.

  Good location and pool area, but improvements needed

  We stayed here for 4 nigths as we wanted to explore Almeria and Cabo de Gata Natural Park and beaches. The appartment was big for 2 people. A number of things need to be improved. Long line for breakfast (could be fixed with more staff and including larger spaces). The safe did not work but was fixed. The light in the very long hallway only worked when turning it on manually (safety problem during the night). All together the experience was not 5-star as they say they are.
